erst mal vorweg. Das im Folgenden beschriebene Probleme ist erst mit dem Update auf Ubuntu 22.04 entstanden. In Ubuntu 20.04 wurden die gleichen Komponenten verwendet und da funktionierte alles problemlos.
Ich habe am Rechner zwei USB-Mikrofone angeschlossen. Als Mikrofon soll generell das USB-Headset verwendet werden und so ist es auch in der Audio-Konfiguration eingetragen. (Bild befindet sich im Anhang)
Das zweite USB-Mikrofon wird durch die USB-Webcam mitgebracht und soll gar nicht verwendet werden.
Ich verwende zwei Anwendungen: Mit dem Firefox wird die Video-Konferenz-Lösung dargestellt (Nutzung der Webcam). Mit freerdp wird die Verbindung zu einem Windows-Rechner hergestellt. In dieser Anwendung wird das Headset mit Tonwiedergabe und Mikrofon verwendet.
Die Auswahl bei den Mikrofonen in den Klangeinstellungen lautet: "Microphone - Sennheiser USB headset" und "Microphone - Webcam C270", wobei das Sennheiser Headset als generelles Mikrofon eingetragen ist.
Dummerweiser wird das Mikrofon von den Anwendungen Firefox oder freerdp gefühlt nach dem Zufallsprinzip gewählt. Auch wenn als Standard immer das Sennheiser Headset verwendet wird. Ich hatte erst letztens die Variante, dass über die Videokonferenz im Firefox das Headset-Mikrofon verwendet wurde, aber über die freerdp-Verbindung das Mikrofon der USB-Kamera. Beim nächsten Reboot wird dann wieder neu gemischt. Wenn ich Glück habe wird das USB-Headset-Mikrofon verwendet. Es sieht so aus, als ob die Klangeinstellung für "Eingabegerät" keine Funktion hat. Ich habe auch schon probiert beim Booten die USB-Kamera einfach raus zu ziehen, sodass nur das USB-Headset beim Start erkannt wird. Hat aber auch keine Lösung gebracht, weil dann nach dem Anstecken des USB-Mikrofons wieder "neu gemischt" wird. Meine einzige Lösung besteht derzeit darin, die USB-Kamera zu entfernen, wenn ich sichergehen will, dass das Headset-Mikrofon verwendet wird. Letztendlich kann ich gar nicht erkennen welches Mikrofon wirklich von der Anwendung verwendet wird. Ich werde dann immer darauf angesprochen, dass sich mein Ton so "komisch" anhört, wenn das Mikro der USB-Kamera verwendet wird.

In dem Zusammenhang habe ich versucht die Reihenfolge der USB-Mikrofone festzulegen, in der Hoffnung, dass das USB-Headset immer als Mikrofon verwendet wird.

Diese Versuche haben aber nichts verändert. Kann mir hier jemand einen Hinweis geben, wie ich das USB-Headset-Mikrofon wieder verlässlich nutzen kann?
