Hallo Leute,
ich nutze schon seit zwei Jahren Ubuntu auf meinem ollen Acer Travelmate 290. Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit der Software habe aber durch die Umstellung von WindowsXP auf Ubuntu die WLAN Fähigkeit eingebüßt. Ich habe immer mal wieder versucht herauszufinden wie ich meine integirerte Karte wieder zum Laufen bekomme... ich habe sehr spärliche Kenntnisse und die Foren-Einträge zur Lösung dieses Problems überfordern mich leider... dann hab ich gedacht ein WLAN-USB-Stick von Hama könnte mein Problem lösen... aber auch dieser hat keine Verbindung zum Internet und das Anschalten über die entsprechende Oberfläche ist nicht möglich. Der Stick wird aber erkannt... Vielleicht kann mir jemand weiterhelfen:-) Würde mich riesig freun, wenn das WLAN wieder läuft! Ich habe hier die entsprechenden Infos abgefragt:
