Hallo,
mein Bildschirm wird plötzlich ab und zu schwarz, während ich den PC nutze. Nach ein paar Sekunden kann ich den PC wieder wie gewohnt nutzen.
Der Login und die Nutzung der Programme sind ganz normal und an sich ohne Probleme. Dazu ist mir noch aufgefallen, dass mein PC lauter geworden ist und manchmal anfängt "zu blasen". Das war bisher gar nicht der Fall, es handelt sich um einen Mini-PC, der absolut still ist. Meine Frage ist nun, was diese Probleme bereitet bzw. wie ich das herausbekommen kann.
Nach meiner Ansicht könnten folgende Komponenten eine Rolle spielen: Bildschirm, PC, Grafikkarte aber auch der Treiber. Hier kommen ein paar Infos:

Bei dem PC handelt es sich um einen INTEl NUC, i3-6100U. Wie kann ich einkreisen, was diese Probleme verursacht? Und wie kann ich das beheben? Danke!

Du könntest kurz nach dem Schwarzen Bildschirm mal sensors abfragen,um Temperaturen ab zu Fragen – sowie nach Logs sehen – z.b. egrep 'WW|EE' /var/log/Xorg.0.log oder dmesg | grep i915

Nachdem der Bildschirm schwarz geworden ist, habe ich "Alt+Shift+F12" eingegeben (turn the compositing off and on) - musste PC dann neu starten und seitdem ist der Bildschirm nicht mehr schwarz geworden! Das Gebläse an meinem PC geht aber weiterhin an - hier die Infos.

Das sieht aber nicht gut aus. Läuft da etwas Amok? Terminalbefehl "top" Im Grunde ist das O.K., Mini PC halt ... Lüfter verdreckt oder halt böses Ubuntu, oder böses Lm-Sensors ... Blöde Frage, kommt da heiße Luft raus?

Sehe es wie hakel – über 70°C sind schon "Sportlich"! Wenn da keine warme Luft zu spüren ist,sind die Lüfterlamellen zu. top sollte trotzdem zur "Diagnose" aufgerufen werden 👍

Vielen Dank schon mal für die Tipps und Hinweise. Habe den PC auseinandergenommen, die Lamellen sind frei, es war fast kein Staub drinnen. Warme Luft kommt fleißig raus... Sobald der PC wieder "am Rad dreht" rufe ich mal "top" auf und trage das hier nach.

Im Prinzip ist es bekannt, daß NUCs in der Vergangenheit nicht "Vollgasfest" waren. Hast du die neueste Firmware installiert, vielleicht drosselt das Gerät dann früher runter? Wurde in der Vergangeheit dringendst bei NUC empfohlen.

Das wäre mir viel zu hoch, so geht das Gerät kaputt. NUCs sind für Office gedacht, nicht für CPU lastige Dinge. 🐸 Es kann natürlich auch sein, daß sich die Kühlkonstruktion/Paste gelöst hat. Ubuntu unschuldig, ob deine Hardware sich korrekt verhält bin ich unsicher! Support kontaktieren oder mal einen Blick ins UEFI/Bios werfen, was man da für Möglichkeiten hat. TDP drosseln etc.

Vielen Dank für die Hinweise!! Habe jetzt erst einmal das Bios upgedatet - von Version 42 auf 72. Und die Default-Einstellungen für Bios gemacht.
Werde das jetzt mal testen und berichten.

Es ist besser geworden, aber leider nicht ganz weggegangen: der PC wird heiß und "arbeitet" wie verrückt. Und wird laut, obwohl er ja an sich ganz leise ist... Ich denke, dass es ein Hardware-Problem gibt.

Wenn das Gerät heiß und laut wird, arbeitet die Hardware korrekt. Es fehlt an Infos, Idle/Vollast ❓
obwohl er ja an sich ganz leise ist...
... das ist systembedingt nicht möglich! Mini PCs müssen laut sein, im Vergleich.

Bisher kann ich nicht sagen, wodurch die plötzliche Last ausgelöst wird.

@Kellerkind - das sieht für mich so alles realistisch aus. Eine 15 Watt CPU kann das GH nicht aufheizen 28 Grad. Die 77 Grad sind der miesen CPU Kühlung geschuldet, und dann wird es laut.
kann ich nicht sagen, wodurch die plötzliche Last ausgelöst wird.
Bleibt die Frage woher die Last kommt, oder anders ausgedrückt "mit XFCE wäre das nicht passiert (?) ... "
