Guten Morgen @all.
Ich habe mit meinen Dell Latitude D610 - Notebook ein großes Problem.
Ich versuche jetzt schon seit Tagen Ubuntu 8.04 und Windows XP parallel zu betreiben.
Ich habe aus dem Wiki alle Ratschläge befolgt, zuerst XP dann Ubuntu installiert, leider ohne Erfolg. Nach dem erfolderlichen Neustart zeigt mir der GRUB-Loader jedes Mal Error 17...
Folglich hatte ich verschiedene Varianten getestet. Zuerst Ubuntu, dann Linux, extra boot-partition, ohne extra boot-partition, ext2, ext3 usw. alles ohne Erfolg.
Im Wiki fand ich den Artikel, den Bootloader neu zu schreiben, alles nach Anweisung gemacht, leider ohne Erfolg.... Ich komme hier einfach nicht weiter.
Kann mir bitte jemand helfen??? Ich bitte aber um etwas Nachsicht, da ich noch nicht wirklich Ahnung von Linux habe....
