Hallo zusammen, ich möchte um Hilfe bitten. Ich habe seit Jahren Lubuntu in verschiedenen Versionen installiert und das stets zufriedenstellen. Bis zu einer gewissen Zeit, ich glaube irgendwann zwischen 16.10 und 17.10 hat der Scanner aufgehört zu funktionieren. Ich habe mich durch sämtliche Foren und durch's Internet geklickt, ziemlich viel probiert wie z.B. die /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libsane.rules anzupassen und einiges mehr. Letztendlich war der Rechner so zerschossen das ich dann heute Lubuntu 18.04 aufgesetzt habe in der Hoffnung das der Scanner wieder geht. Leider war das ein Satz mit X. Wie oben im Titel geschrieben habe ich die 32bit Lubuntu Version, passend zum "alten" Pentium 4 Rechner. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen das Problem zu lösen? Ich wäre sehr dankbar! Grüße Roland

Ok,die Treiber sind im Falschen Ordner. [dll] load: couldn't open `/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/sane/libsane-brother2.so.1' (No such file or directory) Führe folgendes aus sudo ln -s /usr/lib/sane/libsane-brother2* /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/sane Danach den udev-Dienst neu starten,alternativ Neustart sudo systemctl restart udev.service Dann sollte er Scannen.Falls nicht zeige wieder abfrage 1 |

Guten Abend! Wir hatten auch schon mal vor einem Jahr genau das selbe Problem, wegen der unschönen Anmache von "Axt" damals, habe ich dann erst mal wieder von Ubuntu Abstand genommen. Nun habe ich einen neuen Anlauf mit Ubuntu gewagt. Bekomme den Scanner aber wieder nicht zum laufen 😢 Ich habe ein 64 Bit System, könntest Du evtl. freundlicherweise, die letzten 3. Hallo, danke. Hab den Treiber installiert. Der Scanner wird nun erkannt, jedoch folgt die Meldung "Scannen fehlgeschlagen. Scanvorgang konnte nicht gestartet werden" |

Deinstalliere den Brother brscan2 nochmal.Dann Installiere ihn nochmal neu.Bei dem brscan2 Treiber unter 18.04 gibt es zur Zeit viele Probleme ☹ |

Hab ich gemacht. Scanner wird erkannt, Scanvorgang lässt sich starten, sieht erstmal gut aus, aber hängt sich dann auf. Hab jetzt auch noch xsane installiert und bekomme dort eine Fehlermeldung. Vielleicht ist das noch ein Hinweis? |
