Hallo zusammen,
Ich habe ein wahrscheinlich etwas kniffeligeres Problem: Der Drucker ist ein Canon LBP5000, der via USB angeschlossen ist. Ich habe versucht, den Drucker gemäß https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CanonCaptDrv190 zu installieren. Dabei gab es keine Fehlermeldungen. Wenn ich versuche, zu drucken, landen die entsprechenden Einträge in /var/spool/cups, der Drucker selbst tut jedoch gar nichts.
Ein Aufruf von
1 | $ captstatusui -P LBP5000 |
gibt den Fehler Check the DevicePath of /etc/ccpd.conf aus.

Ich habe den Canon nach /dev/usb/lp1 konfiguriert, weil lp0 von einem anderen Drucker belegt wird.
Beim Drucken einer Testseite erscheint nichts im syslog und es wird auch nichts nach /var/log//CCPD geschrieben. Hier noch alles, was ich bisher überprüft habe und die entsprechenden Ergebnisse:
