ich habe auch schon in dem anderen E6400 Threat gepostet. Der steht aber schon auf gelöst und daher denke ich mal, dass da nicht so schnell wieder jemand reinschaut. Also hier nochmal im eigenen Threat.
Hat jemand von euch schon das interne UMTS Modem zum fliegen gebracht? Ich google jetzt inzwischen zwei Tage und kriege es einfach nicht hin.
Wenn ich es ganz normal über den Networkmanager versuche schlägt er zwar direkt vor, dass ich eine Verbindung einrichten soll und ruft dann auch den Assistenten auf, wo ich dann auf Germany und T-Mobile klicke, aber er bekommt einfach keine Verbindung zu stande.
Ich habe es inzwischen auch schon mit gnome-ppp versucht, aber der sagt immer, dass er das Modem nicht findet.
Mit UMTSMon habe ich es auch schon versucht. Der bricht allerdings immer mit der Meldung "Could not write to device (anymore)" ab. Hier auch nochmal die Ausgabe der Konsole bei umtsmon:

Er hat das Modem aber ja scheinbar erkannt, da ich, wenn ich nen Linksklick auf das Netzwerksymbol oben mache unter anderem "Mobiles Breitband (Dell Computer Wireless 5530 HSPA Mobile Broadband Minicard Device" und darunter "Einrichten..." auflistet.
Das komische ist, dass er dieses Device dort zwei mal anzeigt. Und er bekommt halt keine Verbindung zu stande.

Es handelt sich wie der Titel ja schon sagt um ein E6400 von Dell.
Installiert ist Ubuntu in der neusten stable Version, also 8.10
Wenn ihr noch Infos braucht sagt bescheid 😉
