Hallo,
es handelt sich übrigens um einen Desktop-PC - im Wiki steht etwas von xorg.conf.d aber nur in Bezug auf input-devices aber nicht wie man dort Monitore einrichtet.
So sieht meine xorg.conf aktuell aus:

Die Serverflags für DPMS habe erst vor dem letzten booten eingefügt aber die werden anscheinend ignoriert.

Der Bildschirmschoner startet aber der Monitor wird nicht nach der entsprechenden Zeit ausgeschaltet. Kann man das sonst noch irgendwo einstellen, das sich der Monitor nach einer gewissen Zeit ausschaltet?

Es lag unter anderem an den Einstellungen für den Bildschirmschoner - und möglicher Weise an meinen bis dato nicht funtionierenden Power-Management inzwischen habe ich uswsusp nachinstalliert und die entsprechenden Datein gepatcht
