Hello!
I just stumbeled over a, for me strange, behavior.
I mount a samba share from a raspberryPi to my laptop. There is a bashscript with the x-permission. Now I can edit these bashscript file from the raspberryPi on my laptop with a giu editor - and save it. Then I normaly start this script via ssh directly on the raspberryPi.
But everytime I save these bashscript file, it looses the x permission.
But even more strange,if I look into the directory via ssh, the file is missing the x permission and looking on the same file on the laptop in the mounted path, the file keeps the x permission.
I always thought mounting a remote filesystem and using it localy, is the same as using it on the remote computer itself. I'm sure it's something in the samba config?
Is there a difference how samba and sshfs works? (edit) yes, if I mount the remote respberryPi via sshfs, the x permission remains as is.
Thank you.
