Hi und hallo, finalerweise melde ich mich nun in Eurem Forum an, nach etwa einem Jahr mehr oder minder erfolgreichem selftroubleshooting. Dieser Tage stoße ich an die Grenzen meiner Möglichkeiten. : )
Folgendes Problem: Mein Acer 1830 3474 G50nki verfügte beim Kauf über das WLAN-Modul Broadkom BCM943225HM, welches dank seiner proprietären Treiber und mangelndem 5gHz ausgetauscht wurde gegen ein Intel 6200 (Rückbau nur unter Androhung von Strafe ; ) ). Ein (Informatiker-)Freund verwendet das Vorgängermodul in einem Aspire 1810 und laut seiner Aussage sei das Update auf Natty sehr empfehlenswert, da endlich alle Mätzen bezüglich des N-Modus' auskuriert seien und Wlan nun ohne Workarounds, Skripte etc. so funktioniere wie gewünscht. (D.h.: An der Kombination Treiber + Natty kanns eigentlich nicht liegen, denn bei ihm gehts.)
Ich verwende deswegen seit einigen Tagen Natty mit dem Kernel 2.6.38-8. Das System wurde von 10.10 auf 11.04 per Aktualisierungsverwaltung geupdated. Seitdem reagiert leider das Wlan-Modul nicht mehr, weder auf die FN+F3 Tastenkombination, noch auf Mauseingaben im Panel, noch auf Terminaleingaben.
Da das Modul jedwege Zusammenarbeit verweigert, waren auch bisherige Lösungsversuche bereits im Ansatz als gescheitert zu betrachten. Help? *verzweifelt*
