Teste es mal mit Temporärer Abschaltung des Energiesparmodus vom USB Port,wird USB 2 oder 3 verwendet? Von welchem Scannerprogramm redest du? Xsane,Simple-Scan,Imagescan? echo "-1" | sudo tee -a /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend Nach dem Befehl mal Versuchen mit dem Vorschauscan.

Leider keine Besserung. "Konnte Scanner nicht starten. Fehler während Geräte I/O." Achso, dürfte USB2.0 sein, ist ein Lenovo R500. XSane ist meine Anwendung.

Ok,Installiere den Scannertreiber neu.Arbeite dich in meiner Liste von oben nach unten ☺ Zeige die Terminal Ausgabe,damit ich Fehler sehen kann sudo apt-get purge imagescan
sudo apt install unp
mkdir -p ~/Epson-ET-2650
cd ~/Epson-ET-2650
wget https://download2.ebz.epson.net/imagescanv3/ubuntu/lts1/deb/x64/imagescan-bundle-ubuntu-16.04-1.3.23.x64.deb.tar.gz

sudo service udev restart Alternativ Neustart.Falls noch immer scheitert zeige zusätzlich noch die Ausgabe von export SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 && scanimage -L

Die Installation ist Fehlerfrei durchgelaufen. Zeige mal die Terminal Ausgaben von lsusb und imagescan wenn der Drucker eingeschaltet ist.

Mit Imagescan funktioniert die Vorschau auch, allerdings finde ich das Programm furchtbar, u.a. weil man z.B. in der Vorschau nicht zuschneiden kann. Ich würde schon gern mit XSane arbeiten.

Das ist doch schon mal eine Wichtige Information das das Gerät jetzt schon mal Funktioniert! Das Problem ist jetzt nur Xsane 😉 Teste einmalig sudo -H xsane und sudo sane-find-scanner

Also sudo -H xsane öffnet XSane, allerdings kommt beim Vorschauscan die gleiche Fehlermeldung wie bisher. Zum anderen Befehl: gunnar@gunnar-ThinkPad-R500:~$ sudo sane-find-scanner

Wir können noch mal den Versteckten xsane Ordner umbenennen,vielleicht reicht das. Hab keine Idee mehr woran der Vorschauscann hängen bleibt. mv ~/.sane/xsane ~/.sane/xsane-old danach nochmal probieren mit dem Vorschauscann. Wenn dann noch nicht geht mache mit dem Problem einen neuen Thread auf.

Leider immer noch nix. Das Interessante ist, daß ich im Vorschaufenster sogar den zu scannenden Bereich wählen kann, der dann auch richtig gescannt wird. Nur die Vorschau an sich geht halt nicht. OK, besten Dank bis hierher. Werd ein neues Thema aufmachen.

Eines Probiere noch,unabhängig vom neuen Thema http://support.epson.net/linux/en/iscan_c.html Installiere die Treiber,da sie hauptsächlich dafür sind wenn man Sane verwenden möchte. Hintergrund: gunnar@gunnar-ThinkPad-R500:~$ sudo sane-find-scanner

Hab's versucht, leider ohne Erfolg. Das Programm "Image Scan! for Linux" kenn ich von meinem Epson SX435, da hat das einwandfrei funktioniert und die Oberfläche gefällt mir auch, kann man gut mit arbeiten. Da liegen Welten zwischen "Image Scan! for Linux" und "Image Scan". Es ist mir sowieso schleierhaft, wenn Epson so gute Programme wie "Image Scan! for Linux" hat, wieso man dann so eine Krücke wie "Image Scan" zum ET 2650 liefert. Das ist ein totaler Rückschritt. Jedenfalls, wenn ich "Image Scan! for Linux" öffnen will, kommt nur die Fehlermeldung "Konnte keinen Befehl an den Scanner übermitteln".

Kann dich dabei gut Verstehen! Versuche mal noch https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Scanner/Epson/#Konfiguration Habe kein Epson und deshalb musst du etwas "Probieren" Trage in der /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf dann für dein Scanner usb 0x04b8 0x1121 ein. Kontrolliere immer mit export SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 && scanimage -L Dabei muss das Gerät gefunden werden,ansonsten gibt es noch Probleme mit Sane 😕
