Hallo liebe Ubuntuuser, habe mich in der vergangenen Woche von Windows verabschiedet und bin gerade dabei einen neuen Laptop mit Ubuntu einzurichten. Bin bisher einigermaßen zurecht gekommen, wenn es manchmal auch ein bisschen gedauert hat und viel nachgelesen werden musste. Jetzt habe ich das Problem, dass mein Drucker zwar erkannt wird, dass er auch reagiert, sprich eine Seite durchschiebt, aber er druckt nicht. Habe ein bisschen rum gestöbert, aber nichts gefunden, was mir hilft bzw. was ich verstanden habe. Im Wiki habe ich den Hinweis auf den Epson Downloadbereich gefunden, war da, habe das all-in-package runtergeladen, aber leider ohne Erfolg installiert. Ich weiß jetzt nicht, ob ich es falsch installiert habe oder ob es sich um ein anderes Problem handelt. Habe vor allem keine Ahnung, wo ich, wie bei der Fehlersuche beginnen soll. Ubuntu 20.04, 64bit; Epson ET2710 über USB-Kabel; Hoffe, Ihr könnt mir helfen und es vor allem so erklären, dass ich auch verstehe, wie es geht, bin wie gesagt absoluter Newbie. 😊 Danke Euch im Voraus Markus

Uih, das ging aber schnell. Hallo Stephan, ja es ist ein Eco Tank Modell. Würde Deiner Bitte gerne nachkommen, und schon habe ich das erste Problem, wie mache ich das? Wenn ich die erste Befehlsreihe eingebe, passiert gar nichts, bei der zweiten gibt es Infos, aber ich weiß nicht, wie ich die so schön gelayoutet bekomme, wie Du das machst. Wenn ich nach passenden Treibern suche, meldet er, dass er keinen findet. Das Gerät kommt auch in Liste der Epsondrucker in der Datenbank nicht vor. Vielleicht ist noch relevant, dass das System den Drucker mit diesem Treiber "Generic ESC/P Dot Matrix Printer" nutzen will? Ok,dir fehlen die Treiber und du hast ein Fehlerhaftes Paket Installiert. Führe nun aus sudo apt purge ippusbxd danach sudo apt install libusb-0.1-4 printer-driver-gutenprint Starte dann neu und richte danach den Drucker ein.Sollte Funktionieren. Gruß Stephan |

Hallo Stephan, Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Ich bin vorgegangen, wie Du geschrieben hast, habe einen Neustart durchgeführt, habe die alten hinzugefügten Drucker gelöscht und meinen neu hinzugefügt, er wurde gefunden, die Treiber gesucht und der Drucker wurde mit dem gleichen Vermerk: "Generic ESC/P Dot Matrix Printer" hinzugefügt. Das Problem ist bestehen geblieben. Der Rechner behauptet, dass er druckt, die Seite fährt auch durch den Drucker, aber sie ist nicht beschrieben. Meinst Du mit Drucker einrichten vielleicht noch irgendetwas anderes? Gruß Markus |
