Hallo,

ich habe einen Lenovo T460s (Intel Core i5 6300 prozessor) mit Ubuntu Mate 18.04.2 LTS. Leider erkennt er die SD Karte von meiner Kamera nicht, ich habe verschiedene KKarten ausprobiert, die Karten funktionieren auf meinem alten Laptop (lenovo w510) der das selbe aktuelle Betriebssystem hat. Habe versucht sie zu mounten aber soweit ichs überblicke wird sie gar nicht erst erkannt. Es könnte auch sein, dass die hardware kaputt ist, ich habe den Laptop als b-ware gekauft und bevor ich Windows plattgemacht und Ubuntu installiert habe, habe ich lediglich die usb-ports getestet und nicht den sd-card reader, aber vielleicht gibt es ja noch etwas was ich versuchen kann?

Wird der Kartenleser vom System erkannt? Ausgabe folgenden Befehls in einem Codeblock bitte:

Alternativ nochmal im BIOS schauen. Dort können diese Geräte normalerweise alle deaktiviert werden und das wäre bei einem Gebrauchtgerät nicht auszuschließen.

Das sieht danach aus, dass der Kernel keine Antwort von der SD-Karte kriegt. Solche Probleme mit SD-Card-Readern gibt es seit Jahren immer wieder.

Keine Ahnung, warum ich auf die Idee gekommen bin, dass der Kartenleser über USB angebunden wird. In den T460-Modellen ist ein Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTS522A PCI-Express-Card-Reader verbaut, der entsprechend der Gerätebezeichnung über PCI angebunden und demnach in der „anderen“ Geräteübersicht auftauchen sollte:

Die Fehlermeldungen in dmesg weisen darauf hin, dass das Gerät selber erkannt wurde. Aber wie tomtomtom schon sagte, sind Probleme mit der Treiberunterstützung abhängig von Kernelversion, der Harware, der betroffenen SD-Karte und dem Einfluss von Sonnenstürmen nicht ungewöhnlich. Das bei dir verbaute Modell RTS522A scheint unter Linux bis dato noch nie vollständig funktioniert zu haben und zumindest sporadisch bestimmte SD-Karten aus Gründen™ abzulehnen.

Mit älteren Ubuntu- bzw. Kernel-Versionen wurde für diesen spezifischen Kartenleser ein Error -5 ausgeworfen, dem man auf Kosten der Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit damit begegnen konnte, das zuständige Kernelmodul mit der Option debug_quirks2=0x2 oder debug_quirks2=0x4000 zu laden. In aktuelleren Versionen klemmt es jetzt mit Error -110 und die oben genannte Option löst das Problem nicht.

Derzeit kann man - soweit meine Einschätzung - leider nichts machen … Außer auf einen externen Kartenleser auszuweichen.

Hi - habe einen t460p mit exakt dem gleichen Realtek Chip. Kurz: Bei mir tut's. Nutze den Leser mit Kubuntu 18.04.2. Aber das ging nicht sofort und ich erinnere mich nicht mehr genau, was ich gemacht habe.

Nachtrag: Ich benutzte eine SandDisk Extreme Pro 32 GB - habe aber gerade auch einmal eine unter Kubuntu noch nicht genutzte Transcend 128 GB und ne schrubbelige hama mit 64 GB reingeschoben, die gingen auch beide. Es liegt also bei Dir auch wahrscheinlich nicht am Kartentyp...

Das ist kein „Code“, sondern einfach die Ausgabe von lspci zu dem Kartenleser auf seinem T460p. Damit wir sehen können, dass es das gleiche Gerät ist und so.

Weswegen ich das mit dem Dateisystem auch nicht in Betracht gezogen hätte. Aber wenn man dann bspw. diese Irrfahrt im ArchForum 🇬🇧 liest, dann scheinen die Fehlermeldungen im Kontext mit exFAT nicht zwangsläufig eindeutig.

Naja - die exfat Pakete kannst Du ja einmal installieren. Schaden können sie ja nicht. Auch wenn ich ich kein großer Freund von raten bin... 😉
