Hallo!

Ich habe ne Frage.. Ich habe ein Hanvon Rollick RL0504 Graphic Tablet, und würde das gerne auf Linux nutzen. Habs mir gekauft als ich noch Windows verwendet hab, und lange nicht gebraucht.. Jetzt würd ich gerne damit arbeiten aber - o god - finde keine Linux Treiber. ☹

Wisst ihr irgendetwas darüber, ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt das zu nutzen? Hab mal versucht die Windows-Treiber per Wine zu installieren (nach dem Motto "nen Versuch is es wert") und es hat aber in keinster Weise reagiert. Google hat mir leider wenig weitergeholfen, ich finde nur Angebote bzw. irgendwelche Laptop Batterien. =(

Irgendeine Idee wie ich das Ding zum laufen krieg?

Es gibt im Grunde nur Wacom Tablets und nicht-Wacom Tablets. Die nicht-Wacom Tablets werden in der Regel durch den Universaltreiber bedient. Dieser kann seit einiger Zeit relativ gut mit Tablets umgehen, daher stellt sich jetzt die Frage: Was genau funktioniert denn nicht?

Okay das hab ich mir fast schon gedacht, aber wie gesagt ich hab mir gedacht probieren kann mans ja mal.. Okay ich versuche es mal zu beschreiben.. Auf den ersten Blick passiert nix, daher wenn ich am Tablet was mache reagiert die Maus überhaupt nicht.. Beim Tablet leuchtet zumindest so ein Lämpchen, aber das liegt ws daran, dass es einfach Strom hat. Es leuchtet in einem gewissen Abstand, was anscheinend normal ist. Das interessante ist: Wenn ich den Stift aufs Tablet setze leuchtet das Licht konstant, es erkennt also schon den "Touch". Nun weiß ich aber nicht ob das vom Tablet intern gemacht wird oder ob es dazu den Computer braucht. Wenn ersteres, dann erkennt der Computer das Tablet anscheinend gänzlich nicht. Wie gesagt die Maus reagiert aber auf gar nix.

Was brauchst du sonst für Infos, ich weiß sonst nicht was ich dir beschreiben kann.. 😐 Sag einfach Bescheid was ich dir beschreiben soll 😉

Das mit der Lampe kenn ich von Waltop Tablets, das ist eine Sache vom Tablet selbst.

Einerseits wäre es schon mal gut zu wissen, von wem das Tablet eigentlich kommt, das wirst du über lsusb herausfinden können - die werden oft von anderen Firmen unter anderem Namen verkauft, aber die Elektronik selbst sagt dir schon von wem sie gebaut wurde. Andererseits ist natürlich auch von Interesse was der X Server eigentlich derzeit mit dem Teil anfängt, das dürfte uns die /var/log/Xorg.0.log verraten.

Hier mal lsusb. Angesteckt hatte ich im Moment eine Logitech M215 Funkmaus (Nicht eingeschaltet) und das Tablet selbst..

Im Log taucht jedenfalls überhaupt nichts auf. Das ist jedenfalls keine gute Nachricht, es lässt darauf schließen, dass das Tablet kein Standardprotokoll benutzt - ohne speziellen Treiber wird dann nichts gehen.

Und was heißt das jetzt? Keine Chance? Oder muss ich irgendeinen Umweg gehen?

Die XP-Pen USB-Tabletts werden eigentlich weitesgehend gut unterstützt und dafür gibt es einen eigenen Gerätetreiber des XServers, der aktiv von einem eigenen Projekt entwickelt wird.

Mein inzwischen recht altes XP-Pen Star G430 Graphic Tablet ( https://www.xp-pen.com/product/46.html ) macht immer noch einen guten Job. Spezielle Software braucht es nicht - GIMP, Krita, MyPaint und auch Inkscape können da alle mit.

Naja, spezielle Software braucht es in diesem Sinne schon, weil die Druckempfindlichkeit softwareseitig natürlich irgendwie unterstützt werden muss, aber das ist bei den oben genannten Anwendungen gegeben. Ohne Druckempfindlichkeit funktionieren die Stifte halt wie jedes andere Zeigergerät auch: Point'n'Click.
