Hi, vorneweg, alle mir bekannten Versuche, den Customizer zu entfernen, endeten in einer Neuinstallation → also, bitte alles sichern, was auch nur irgendwie wichtig ist. Und bitte ein Live-System bereit halten, es könnte gut möglich, dass es nötig wird,via chroot weiter zu arbeiten → ok, so weit, so gut. Als erstes würd ich mal den Ordner Dann würd ich den Grub-Customizer entfernen sudo apt-get purge grub-customizer danach zur Sicherheit ein sudo update-grub und dann mit PPA-Purge auf den "daniel richter" losgehen, also sudo ppa-purge ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer und dann wieder sudo update-grub und danach bitte die Ausgabe von tree /etc/grub.d/ zeigen → alles ohne Gewähr auf Erfolg, dafür aber mit der Hoffnung, dass "ppa-purge" die Geschichte wieder rückgängig macht. ▶ und alles auf eigenes Risiko ☺ |

Moin moin, ich sag mal so - auf der "sicheren Seite" bist du dann, wenn du das System ohne Verluste gegen die Wand fahren kannst. Bei mir wären das bspw. alle Daten (Bilder, Dokumente, Sound, usw.), sowie die Profilordner von Firefox und Thunderbird und dann noch alles, was ich am System händisch geändert habe, in meinem Fall wären das noch Und sagen wir mal so - eine aktuelle Datensicherung schadet nie → dann kann man so eine Situation, wie du jetzt hast, als "Lernobjekt" betrachten und bei Bedarf ein System auch mal schnell neu aufsetzen. bowman hat dir ja die Links schon geliefert - alles was du mit dem Customizer gemacht hast, kann man auch recht einfach mit systemeigenen Mitteln erreichen → wie du ja selber sehen kannst, hast du in /etc/grub.d/ 303 Dateien mehr drin, als bei mir in nem "sauberen" 17.04. Leider findet man im Netz keine funktionierende Anleitung, wie man den Customizer rückstandslos entfernen kann - aussichtslos ist es m.E. aber auch nicht. Zumindest theoretisch sollte es eigentlich funktionieren, den Customizer und dann das PPA zu entfernen → den Weg dorthin hab ich dir beschrieben. Vor nem Neustart würd ich dann Grub 2 nochmal neu installieren und wenn das fehlerfrei durchläuft, dann sollte einem Neustart eigentlich nix mehr im Wege stehen. Und um in diesem Moment nicht ohne Schutz im Regen zu stehen, dafür ist das Live-System gedacht - damit könnte man dann sowohl weitere Reparaturen vornehmen oder eben halt auch mal neu installieren. |

nee, das machen wir nicht - ist auch nicht nötig und eher kontraproduktiv → warum sollen wir auf die "Schwarmintelligenz" verzichten? Oder anders gesagt, ich bin mir sicher, dass hier auch andere mitlesen, die auch Ahnung von der Materie haben und solange da bei dem, was wir versuchen, kein Veto kommt, solange sind wir auf nem guten Weg. 👍 Also, zurück zum Thema: Du hast den Customizer entfernt, danach mit "ppa-purge" den Daniel_Richter entfernt, Grub neu installiert und dann nen Neustart gemacht? Das ist jetzt noch keine Aufforderung zum Neustarten, nur ne Frage. p.s.: ich vermute mal, der Thread wird verschoben, wahrscheinlich nach "Programme" ☺ |

Ne, kein Neustart, lade gerade AP Linux V4 runter; das dauert noch 2 Tage xD ...werde den Download anhalten und neustarten Nach dem Neustart sind immernoch 8 Ordner und 313 Einträge |

Vielleicht kann ich ja wirklich einfach Grub durch configs selber konfigurieren und die .mod files ignorieren.... sie machen jetzt ja auch nichts. |

mach vor dem Neustart bitte noch ein sudo grub-install /dev/sda && sudo update-grub wobei das "sda" nur dann Gültigkeit hat, wenn nur eine Festplatte eingebaut ist. Dann bitte kurz die Ausgabe zeigen - sind mehrere Festplatten verbaut, dann kannst du auch erstmal sudo parted --list zeigen. EDIT// hmm, verschoben in die Lounge → Frage: in welchem System ist der Customizer installiert und welche weiteren Systeme sind noch installiert? |
