Guten NAbend zusammen. Ich hab mein Ubuntu im UEFI Modus auf meinem Notebook neu innstalliert, Klappt alles wunder ikl. Secure Boot.
So Folgendes Problem, wen ich mein system starte kommt als erstes das menü vom grub und von dort komme ich dan entweder weiter zu windows oder xubuntu. Da mit das Schwartz mit Weisser schrift nicht so zusagt wollte ich ein Hintergrundbild Einfügen.
Ich hab in die "/etc/default/grub" "export GRUB_BACKGROUND="/boot/grub/images/op.jpg" eingefügt.
Wen ich grub akt. kommt auch die meldung "Found background image: op.jpg" aber wen ich dan neustarte ist das grub menü immer noch schwartz. Könnt ihr mir Helfen? Gruss Conan

Aus mir nicht erfindlichen Gründen mag das neue Grub keine (oder nicht alle) jpg-Dateien. Deshalb wandele mal dein Bild in png um, dann sollte alles gut sein.

Zuerst endschuldigung das ich es in das andere thema geschrieben habe, ich dachte es wäre dort richtig. So also der grub hat sich tatsälich an der jpg verschluckt (ohne ersichtliche fehlermeldung).
ABER es war nicht nur die jpg datei, ich schlau meiner hab aber auch den flaschen grub befehl benutzt 😳
Ich hatte sudo grub-mkconfig eingetippt und nicht sudo update-grub . Peinlich Peinlich. Es war also ein jpg Problem und ein User Problem. Ich danke die für deine Hilfe! Gruss Conan

Guckst Du hier (Hinweisbox). Die verwendeten Grafiken dürfen keine indizierten Farben enthalten. Das kann z.B. mit GIMP überprüft werden (Menü: Bild:Modus).

beim Systemstart der Sound "Start Windows (Voyager)" oder wenn man wo das Passwort falsch eingibt der Sound "Access Denied" abgespielt wird usw...

nabend leute, ich muss das thema leider noch mal hoch hollen.
Ich hab ubuntu (mate) 17.10 neu innstalliert (dachte die displayheligkeit würde wieder gehen...)
und hab grub mit neu aufgesetzt.

es klappt einfach nicht, stats dem hintergrundbild "op.png" und pinke schrift, ist alles scwarz mit weiser schrift. Könnte mir jemand helfen, das es wieder klappt? gruss conan
