Hallo, ich habe praktisch das selbe Problem wie Wibuntu mit meinem Drucker hp envy 5530 usb. Gestern das neue Ubuntu 20.04 auf meinem PC aufgesetzt usw. Gleiche Meldungen wie bei Wibuntu. Einiges habe ich schon - ohne dieses Forum hier zu kennen - ausprobiert, insbesondere hplip deinstalliert und dann hplip-3.20.3.run, die vielen fehlenden Abhängigkeiten versucht aufzulösen und bin dann letztlich daran gescheitert, dass das Paket python3-pyqt4 nicht installiert werden kann. Den Drucker bringe ich also nicht zum Laufen. Dann habe ich festgestellt, dass der Drucker als Scanner mit xsane reagiert und tatsächlich scannt. Hilft das weiter?

Die Fehlermeldungen betreffen die GUI für HP,die mit gebaut wird wenn man "Automatische Installation" Auswählt.Wähle die Manuelle Installation, Please choose the installation mode (a=automatic*, c=custom, q=quit) :c bei der Abfrage nach Gui mit 4 und 5 Do you wish to enable 'Graphical User Interfaces (Qt4)' (y=yes*, n=no, q=quit) ? n
Do you wish to enable 'Graphical User Interfaces (Qt5)' (y=yes, n=no*, q=quit) ? n gibst du ein n ein,die Grafische Oberfläche brauchst du erst mal nicht.

Die Warnings sind nicht Interessant.Also sudo apt install python3-dev python3-pil Danach das Setup wieder anstoßen.
