Schlechte Nachricht! Hab es gerade mal bei mir Live probiert – Keine Funktion des HP ENVY 5640! Bin am Ball 😈 Für dich erst mal sudo apt-get install --reinstall build-essential libusb-dev libcupsimage2-dev libcupsfilters-dev libusb-1.0-0-dev libjpeg-dev python3-dev python3-pil libcanberra-gtk-module python-dev python-pil python-dbus danach das Setup wieder anstoßen mit hp-setup Vielleicht hast du mehr Glück – wenn nicht sehe ich was auf das Forum hier zurollen 🙄 |

Darf ich nur mal die Frage der Kompatibilität in der Raum stellen? Auf der HP Webseite sind diese resp. ist dieser Treiber auch noch nicht als kompatibel gelistet oder ist der mitgelieferte Treiber ein speziell angepasster? Ich frage nur deshalb weil bei mir privat nun ein Druckerkauf eines Farblasers ansteht und ich vor der Kaufentscheidung stehe ob es nun ein HP 150nw oder ein Brother HL-L3210CW ähnlichen Typs werden wird.. |

Befehl hp-setup findet der Terminal nicht, kann aber installiert werden mit sudo apt install hplip als Vorschlag - so weitermachen? |

@ motiongroup Grundsätzlich laufen HP Geräte immer unter Linux.Auch mein HP Envy läuft auf dem Installiertem System mit dem 3.20.3 Treiber. Warum er im Live Modus bei 20.04-64 mit dem Treiber nicht Funktioniert versuche ich noch herauszufinden. Solche Probleme können bei Brother natürlich auch Auftreten. Gruß Stephan |

Genau diese Meldungen hatte ich auch, bei der Installation sind die Warnungen enthalten, dass 20.04 nicht supportet wird ☹ Ich habe den Drucker jetzt eingeschaltet und ziehe dann das USB Kabel ab und stecke wieder an, anschließend enter im Terminal u dann wird man sehen. Endergebnis ernüchternd, gleich wie am Anfang. Leider die ganze Arbeit umsonst. @Kellerkind_2009 Ich danke dir sehr herzlich für die große Mühe und den Zeitaufwand und die Geduld zur Lösung des Problems, welches leider nicht gelöst werden konnte. Da ist wohl bei 20.04 was schief gelaufen. Ich hatte Mate 20.04 bereits vor der Veröffentlichung installiert und dann eben das Druckerproblem. Nun habe ich mit der Lösung zugewartet, habe mir dann nach der Veröffentlichung neuerlich Mate 20.04 heruntergeladen u das Livesystem erstellt. Ich wollte nämlich schon neuinstallieren. Dann habe ich im Livesystem den Drucker getestet u da war der gleiche Fehler. Daher hab e ich mich mit dem Problem ans Forum gewendet. Ich habe mich schon gewundert, dass das Problem nur mich betrifft, da werden sich noch einige hier melden. Also ich werde wieder 18.04.4 installieren u dann später upgraden - Installation ist in einer halben Stunde erledigt.
