Alles klar! Du hast Gimp in der Version 2.10 installiert, dein Anwendungsstarter verweist aber - warum auch immer - auf Version 2.8
Öffne bitte die Datei ~/.local/share/applications/gimp.desktop in einem Editor (mousepad). Der Inhalt sollte etwa so aussehen:

Dann speicherst du die Datei.
Die Datei "Gnu Image Manipulation Program" in deinem Bild 5 ist die Datei /usr/share/applications/gimp.desktop (sie wird hier nur anders dargestellt). Sie wurde vom System bei der Installation angelegt und verweist auf gimp-2.10. Die Datei ~/.local/share/applications/gimp.desktop stammt vermutlich aus einer älteren Xubuntu-Installation (18.04). (altes Home-Verzeichnis kopiert?)
