Hallo zusammen,
ich hoffe, das ist kein alter Hut, bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar. Mein neues Laptop hat einen Intel Wifi controller (s. Codeblock unten). Nach Installation von Xubuntu geht die Hardware eigentlich perfekt, nur das Wlan ist endlos langsam. Nach Suche habe ich folgendes gefunden:
Beide Tipps in dem Link habe ich umgesetzt (Power-safe off und 11n_disable=8). Folgender Effekt: Vor Anwendung der beiden Tipps, war das Netz nur auf dem 2.4GHz-Band sehr langsam, hat aber funktioniert. Auf dem 5GHz Band war es so langsam, dass es praktisch gar nicht gegangen ist. Nach den beiden Hacks ist es auf beiden Bändern gleich: die Geschwindigkeit kommt nicht über ca. 2.5 Mbaud hinaus. Das Ganze gilt für Verbindungen im LAN und ins Netz. Über Kabel-Ethernet ist alles normal schnell. Im Wlan sind mehrere Rechner, keiner der anderen Rechner hat ähnliche Probleme. Das Problem besteht auch bei kurzer Funkstrecke. Ein-und Auswahl aus dem Wlan gehen problemlos und ohne Auffälligkeiten.
Hoffentlich erkennt hier jemand das Problem. Wäre sehr dankbar für jeden Hinweis.
