ich habe eine AMD-CPU

proc/cpuinfo model name AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+

und möchte gerne libc6-dev-adm64 installieren.

Laut Beschreibung (http//packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/libdevel/libc6-dev-amd64)

GNU C Library 64bit Development Libraries for AMD64

Contains the symlinks and object files needed to compile and link programs which use the standard C library. This is the 64bit version of the library, meant for AMD64 systems.

Aber dieses Paket ist nur für Architektur i386 verfügbar -(

Was ist nun falsch?

Hi,

das Paket installiert dir die für amd64 gebauten dev libraries auf einem i386 system genauso wie libc6-dev-i386 die für i386 gebauten dev libraries auf einem amd64 System installiert und auch nur für amd64 verfügbar ist. Die Beschreibungen sind tatsächlich etwas ungünstig gewählt.

Das Paket, dass du vermutlich suchst, heißt schlichtweg libc6-dev.
