Hey Leute Bin eigenlich nicht der Typ der wegen allem sofort hier anfragt hab aber im mom sehr wenig zeit.

Zum eigentlichen Problem:

Hab ein System das jeztz schon seit einigen monaten ohne gröbere Problem läuft. Arbeite eigentlich immer damit.

Vor einigen Tagen wollte ich dan etwas vom USB-Stick eines Freundes kopieren und war verwundert darüber das er nicht automatisch am Desktop erschien. Hatte nicht viel Zeit und dachte das es nur ein temporäres problem sei welches durch einen neustart erledigt sei ging auch nicht unter windows gings aber problemlos

nächster verdach usb stick ist schuld hab mich nicht weiter drumm gekümmert

heite wollte ich von meinem usb stick etwas holen und hab bemerkt das dieser auch nicht erscheint

das problem ist er wird auch nicht bei gparted angezeigt d.h. er wird nichtmal erkannt hab eig scho ewig keinen usb stick verwendet 2-3 wochen d.h keine ahnung ob es was mir irgendeinem update zutun hat der kernel ist nicht schuld habs mit der älteren version auch getestet

PS: meine Logitech USB funkmaus funktioniert

Hat jemand ne idee worans liegen könnte

Ich hatte mal ein ähnliches Problem!

Versuch mal, den Stick wieder an ein Windows-Rechner anzustöpseln.

Wenn er dort automatisch erkannt wird, bitte über das "Hardware sicher entfernen"-Symbol (unten rechts irgendwo neben der Uhr) aushängen - das dauert ein bißchen, bis das Symbol verschwunden ist!

Dann den Stick wieder abziehen und an dein System anstöpseln.

Jetzt müsste er auch dort erkannt werden!

Und auch da gilt, vor jedem Abstöpseln immer mit Rechtsklick auf das Symbol und "Datenträger aushängen" klicken!

Mit dieser Beschreibung konnte ich alle meine Sticks und Festplatten erkennbar machen!

Hmmmmm das ist äußerst merkwürdig. Es wird nichteinmal das Gerät am USB-Bus angemeldet. Da habe ich im Moment auch keinen Dunst, muss ich mal grübeln.

und dann USB Stick einstecken probieren. Das ist etwas geschwätziger :S.

Du hast da noch eine Webcam und einen Bluetooth-Adapter angesteckt?

Schau mal, was sich im syslog tut (also

tail -f /var/log/syslog

wenn du

alle USB-Geräte aussteckst und den USB-Stick einsteckst. Dabei alle USB-Ports durchprobieren.

Evtl. geht einer deiner Ports nicht oder Webcam/Bluetooth-Adapter stören irgendwie.

webcam und bluetooth adapter sind intern eingebaut (laptop)

interressant ist das ich gestern mal ne externe festplatte in die hand bekommen habe und es mit der probiert habe die bekam zumindest strom (led blinkt)

und dasmit den kaputten usb ports kann ich ausschliesen da die usb maus an alle ports einwandfrei funktioniert

Genau, ich auch nicht. Der Stick wird nicht erkannt. Das einzigste was an deinem USB-Hub hängt ist Bluetooth, eine WebCam und eine Maus. Geht der Stick bei einem anderen System? Wenn nicht würde ich drauf tippen, dass er den Geist aufgegeben hat.

Hast du es mal ohne eingesteckte Funkmaus getestet und dabei alle Ports durchprobiert? Da sollte dann schon was im syslog stehen.

PS: Lade dir auch mal eine Live-CD wie sidux runter, fahr damit den Rechner hoch und schau dir dann die Ausgabe von

tail -f /var/log/syslog

beim EInstecken eines USB-Sticks an. Wenn der Stick da erscheint, dann ist es ein Problem von Intreprid. Wenn nicht, dann stimmt vermutlich irgendetwas mit deiner Hardware / Sticks nicht.
