Ok, das JRE 1.7.0_03 von Oracle bringt keine Besserung. Und ebenso nicht das OpenJDK 7. Ach, das ist doch Grütze... |

Ok, ich gebe entnervt auf! Da ich Xubuntu nur zum für einen Testlauf auf eine andere Festplatte installiert habe, werde ich gleich das Projekt beenden und mein laufendes Ubuntu 10.10 (vor allem noch mit meinem geliebten Gnome Classic) wieder in dem Laptop schieben. Wenn die 12.04 als stable raus ist, werde ich noch mal ein Tänzchen wagen. Aber aktuell habe ich keinen Bock da noch länger hinterher zu fummeln. Ich will wieder bauen... Danke für eure Beiträge, auch wenn das Problem leider nicht zu lösen war! |

Hallöchen Leute. Es ist hoffendlich kein Problem diesen Thread einfach mal weiter zu benutzen, da hier ja schon einiges an Infos gesammelt wurde. (und es geschätzte 4Millionen Minecraft Threads gibt^^) Nun, ich habe exakt das gleiche Problem (allerdings unter 12.4) Wie von arnohr schon beschrieben beginnt Minecraft nach kurzer zeit fürchterlich zu stocken. Sämtliche oben genannte Lösungsansätze habe ich probiert (Oracle Java, lwjgl update usw.) das Ergebnis bleibt das Gleiche. Mit dem Unterschied dass ich nicht wieder auf KDE zurückwechseln werde, im Klartext: Ich will dieses Problem Lösen. Der Hauptverdächtige ist wie auch oben schon erwähnt Xorg, der sich eine menge Cpu Leistung nimmt und das ganze System Stocken lässt. Was ich noch herausgefunden habe, ist dass wenn ich mein Minecraft Fenster minimiere und wieder vergrößere, alles wieder im Lot ist (für wenige Minuten). Das klingt für mich schon ziemlich nach Xorg Ich habe mich gefragt ob es eine art "Xorg-log" gibt und wie ich an diesen rankomme. Evtl.findet sich ja dort eine Info. Gruß, Der Steintyp ☺ |

Die Logdateien des XServers liegen unter /var/log/ (Xorg.x.log, x=laufende Nummer). Eine weitere Möglichkeit wäre noch, einen eigenen XServer für Minecraft zu versuchen. Das trennt das Spiel komplett vom Desktop. |

Mit ein wenig google habe ich ein Vollbild hinbekommen, mein problem ist jetzt nurnoch der Ton. Ich habe unter System → Benutzer & Gruppen für mich den Haken bei "Audio" gesetzt. Ich höre Minecraft auch, allerdings nur wenn ich wieder auf den Desktop zurück wechsel. |

So, ich habe das Soundproblem gelöst *freu* Hier also die Lösung wenn Minecraft wie bei arnohr und mir ins Stocken gerät. Einfach wie oben erwähnt einen zweiten XServer starten.
Die Datei ~/Spiele/Minezeugs/mc enthält lediglich den java Befehl um Minecraft zu starten
Ich hoffe damit auch noch anderen Suchenden eine Lösung geboten zu haben. |

Nach all diesen Schritten läuft mein Minecraft sehr schnell und stabil! Ich ging aus winziger Entfernung, schneller Grafik und besserem Licht auf ... alles bis zum Maximum mit soliden 50 fps. Ich gebe zu, es ist eine komplizierte Lösung, aber wenn Sie Ihren Computer nicht aktualisieren möchten oder können, ist diese Lösung sehr effektiv. |
