Der Nvidia wird Verwendet.Was kannst du am TV bei Ton/Hdmi Einstellen?
Sorry, habe die Frage nicht verstanden. Ich habe am PC über Firefox im Internet dies von der Mediathek laufen lassen. https://tvthek.orf.at/profile/Winter-Youth-Olympic-Games/13889618/Winter-Youth-Olympic-Games-2020-Tag-8-aus-Lausanne/14038615 Und am 25"Bildschirm von Gericom2600 der mit HDMI auf der Nvidia-Karte hängt keinen Ton gehört. Bein Win7 läuft der Ton problemlos.
Ubuntu auf 90% Lautstärke (über Tastatur), Gericom-Bildschirm auch auf 50%. Am Bildschirm habe ich nicht mehr Möglichkeiten der Einstellung für Ton.

Kellerkind_2009 ein herzliches Dankeschön für Mühen. Mir ist das auch ein Rätsel. Kann es sein, (dass ich nicht glaube/verstehe) dass der Signaltyp zw. Nvidia u. Monitor nicht passt? Ich habe auf der Nvidia 2x HDMI u. 2x DVI-(A/D) Ausgang. Bis dato immer den selben genutzt - ich stöpsle mal um.

Wenn speaker-test nichts bringt, dann hilft auch PulseAudio nicht weiter. Teste folgende Varianten mit dem Parameter speaker-test -c2 (Stereo funktioniert immer, Surround nicht):
hw:NVidia,3
hw:NVidia,7
hw:NVidia,8
hw:NVidia,9 Schalte dabei im alsamixer den korrespondierenden Kanal (3 = SPDIF, 7 = SPDIF1, 8 = SPDIF2, 9 = SPDIF3) auf "on", alle anderen auf "off" (sollte mit Taste "m" gehen).
Noch: HDMI-Kabel ist sicher in Ordnung? 😉
Ich habe auf der Nvidia 2x HDMI Ausgang...
Ja, das wäre erwägenswert...

Hallo pepre danke. Ton läuft einwandfrei unter WIN7, soeben getestet. Anderes Kabel hätte ich notfalls.
Teste folgende Varianten mit dem Parameter speaker-test -c2
... der Befehl wird hoffentlich richtig sein? Habe im alsamixer die Regler so gestellt wie beschrieben. Ton war keiner zu hören. -Ubuntu-PC:~$ speaker-test -c2 hw:NVidia,9

Na, hurra! Das bedeutet, dass die Kommunikation zwischen ALSA und deiner Soundkarte klappt. Eigentlich musst du PulseAudio jetzt nur noch so konfigurieren, dass das ALSA-Device "hw:NVidia,7" als "Senke" definiert wird. Allerdings bin ich da außen vor: ich verwende PulseAudio nicht 😉 Es gibt dafür aber bestimmt Experten hier. Vermutlich via PulseAudio (Abschnitt „Ausgabemedium-einstellen“) und PulseAudio (Abschnitt „Geraete-werden-nicht-erkannt“).

Ich bin zwar nicht der Experte aber ich verwende Pulse 😀 Schalte im alsamixer nur wieder S/PDIF1 Aktiv. Die anderen wieder auf MM Wähle dann mal in pavucontrol unter >Konfiguration< bei der Nvidia output:hdmi-stereo-extra1: Digital Stereo (HDMI 2) Ausgang
oder
output:hdmi-stereo-extra2: Digital Stereo (HDMI 3) Ausgang wenn du Musik wieder giebst. Kontrolliere dann in pavucontrol unter >Ausgabegeräte< welcher Port angewählt wird.Ändere ihn auch Ruhig mal. Zeige dann pacmd info

Ja, schön wenn es Zwischenerfolge gibt. Das mit der "Senke" habe ich noch nicht gemacht. Kellerkind_2009 .. ah ha, danke. Ich bin zwar nicht der Experte aber
... kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber gefühlt ein "ja" an beide. Im pavucontrol sind bei >Ausgabegeräte< Balken die sich dynamisch verändern wenn Musik läuft. Das passiert bei >Konfiguration< -Profil: auf allen vier möglichen HDMI-Auswahlmöglichkeiten.

So, das verwirrt mich nun auch. Habe nun nochmals Versuche gemacht. Dazu in der Anlange Bilder vom pavucontrol + alsamixer reingelegt. Hoffe das ist klärend, da es nun so läuft. Frage: Ist das nach dem Neustart wieder weg?? die aktuelle: pacmd info, dazu. Ist diese nun passend?

HDA NVidia at 0xf7080000 irq 17 Du hast ja nun die "Interne abgeschaltet – gut so.Das einzige "schlechte" ist,das es von Pulse als "Unplugged" gesehen wird.Das könnte also passieren das du den Ausgang jedes mal wieder von neuen Einstellen musst. Speichere auf jeden Fall mal die Einstellung von Alsa mit sudo alsactl store

Ton bekomme ich trotzdem. ... das verstehe ich nun nicht mehr?? Ich probiere nun: Habe den alsamixer wie oben gelassen und bei Pulse bei >Konfiguration< die "interne-Karte" zugeschaltet, bin gespannt nach Neustart.

Das ist nicht Verwunderlich ☺ 00 bedeutet an,MM bedeutet aus. Deine Karte bietet ja mehr als eine HDMI Funktion 😊 Entscheidend ist nur was man hört 😉 Im Zweifelsfall werden wir Pulse den Ausgang "Aufzwingen" müssen. Soll die jetzige Konfiguration dein "Standard" sein?
