Du hast Recht, ich habe mir Deinen Link zwar angesehen, aber nicht genau genug. Ich muss mich entschuldigen.
Nun habe ich den Befehl
/opt/extras.ubuntu.com/my-weather-indicator/bin/my-weather-indicator
ins Terminal eingegeben und gestartet. Das Programm selbst startete nicht, und als Fehlermeldung kam folgendes heraus:
