Hello, |

This one gives me a very poor performance, unfortunately, with lots of package loss, weak signal and dropped connections frequently. When using Apple's Time Capsule as router, the connection drops already seconds after establishment, but with another WiFi router it works a little better. I previously used 13.04 and with its kernel (3.8?), the driver-package compiled but led to the system becoming very unstable with occasional kernel panics. I wonder if my only options are downgrading to 12.04, which seems to work for some users, or to physically replacing the network card. I never should have bought a HP with this unsupported piece of sh* card in the first place, I suppose ☹ Any advice is highly appreciated.. |
