ich habe gerade win auf einer festplatte (sdb1) und daraufhin ubuntu auf der anderen (sda1) installiert. leider startet grub nicht bzw. überspricht die auswahl sequent, neuinstalliert habe ich es auch bereits. woran kann das liegen?

Hallo, was meinst du mit "Grub überspringt die Auswahl"? Startet immer Windows oder immer Ubuntu? Hast du auch die Ubuntu-Platte im BIOS als Bootplatte ausgewählt? |

Du musst die Datei in einem Editor mit Administratorrechten öffenen, z.B. per gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub dann die Zeile auskommentieren, die Änderung abspeichern und das Wichtigste: Danach sudo update-grub durchführen. |

Steinigt mich, ich vergaß update-grub Leider findet er die Windows HDD nicht ... Ich weiß, es gab eine Funktion bzw. Möglichkeit dazu ... Bloß auch wenn ich die Bootreihenfolge ändere startet Linux. Als habe Windows seine ~100mb Systempartition auf sda gepackt ... |
