Hallo, habe hier eine Anleitung

http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Scanner_gt68xx

meister@meister-desktop:/usr/share/sane/gt68xx$ ls -l
insgesamt 40
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8192 2010-02-20 15:12 Artec48.usb
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8192 2010-02-20 15:21 cism216.fw
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8192 2010-02-20 15:12 eplus2k.usb
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7343 2010-02-20 15:12 gt680xfw.usb
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7986 2010-02-20 15:12 ps1fw.usb
meister@meister-desktop:/usr/share/sane/gt68xx$

meine /etc/sane.d/gt68xx.conf datei sieht so aus (gänderte Stelle ist gelb markiert):

# gt68xx.conf: Configuration file for GT68XX based scanners (sane-backends 1.0.19)
# Read man sane-gt68xx for documentation

# Put the firmware file into "/usr/share/sane/gt68xx/".

jedoch genauer betrachtet:

meister@meister-desktop:~$ scanimage -L

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the

Hast du schon man sane durchgeackert?

NAME
sane-usb - USB configuration tips for SANE

DESCRIPTION
This manual page contains information on how to access scanners with a USB interface. It focusses on two main topics: getting the scanner detected by the operating system kernel and using it
       with SANE.

This page applies to USB most backends and scanners, as they use the generic sanei_usb interface. However, there is one exceptions: USB Scanners supported by the microtek2 backend need a special
USB kernel driver, see sane-microtek2(5) for details.

sane-plustek:

NAME
sane-plustek - SANE backend for LM983[1/2/3] based USB flatbed scanners

DESCRIPTION
The sane-plustek library implements a SANE (Scanner Access Now Easy) backend that provides access to USB flatbed scanners based on National Semiconductor Merlin chipsets (LM9831, 9832 and 9833).
If you’re looking for parallel-port support for Plustek scanner please refer to the sane-plustek_pp backend.

Überprüfe also auch das Chipset, ggf. per sudo lshw | grep -i plustek -A 10.

OTHER PLUSTEK SCANNERS
For parallelport device support see the plustek_pp backend.
The SCSI scanner OpticPro 19200S is a rebadged Artec AM12S scanner and is supported by the Artec backend.
Only the National Semiconductor LM983[1/2/] based devices of Plustek are supported by this backend. Older versions of the U12, the UT12, the U1212 and U1248 (GrandTech chipset) are not sup‐
       ported.

       Model Chipset backend
       ------------------------------------
       U1248 GrandTech gt68xx
       UT16B GrandTech gt68xx
       OpticSlim 1200 GrandTech gt68xx

man sane-gt68xx

ps aux | grep -i sane-gt68

Hast du schon alles ausprobiert?

Vor allem fallen mir da noch auf:

sane-find-scanner

# dort auch den Chip prüfen
sudo lshw | grep -i plustek -A 10

man sane-gt68xx

ls -a /var/log

Dabei kommt leider nichts raus

meister@meister-desktop:~$ sudo lshw | grep -i plustek -A 10
meister@meister-desktop:~$
