Hallo zusammen, ich bekomme irgendwie keine Verbindung zu meinem Postgresql hin. Ich denke, es liegt an der pg_hba.conf. Weiß nicht, was da noch falsch ist. Wenn ich eingebe: psql -h localhost bacula bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

ich weiß, die mag etwas wild aussehen, ist ja noch in Bearbeitung...................

Der Server läuft aber, das sagt mit systemctl

Da wäre hilfreich, wenn du bekannt gibst,

• wer ist Client und wer ist Server.

• Welches BS hat der Client

• sind beide im gleichen LAN

• arbeitest du mit festen Adressen und mit welchen

• ist der Server per ping erreichbar.

ich logge mich von einem Ubuntu Client zum Ubuntu-Server miitels ssh ein. Beide Rechner sind im gleichen LAN. Postgresql läuft auf dem Server. Der Server hat die IP-Adresse 192.168.0.59 und der Client die 192.168.0.62............

Das # entfernen und die Datenbank neu starten könnte helfen

Hat leider nix gebracht. Beim initializieren der Datenbank wird man ja gefagt, ob man sich mit ident oder mit passwort authentifizieren möchte. Empfohlen wird ja ident. Ist ident dann in der pg_hba.conf dann als peer oder als md5 anzugeben ?

Die zusätzliche host Zeile mit dem peer hat nix gebracht. Kommt das unterhalb IPv4 rein, oder schon drüber ?

Es müssten mit -c4 vier Zeilen kommen.

Warum läuft das alles als User "root"

Was ergibt das von Client aus?

Vielleicht die folgende Zeile wieder löschen:

Stellt sich eher die Frage, wie sind die Berechtigungen, bzw. Eigentümerverhältnisse der Verzeichnissse postgresql ??? Bei mir läuft alles unter postgres:postgres im /etc/postgresql Verzeichnis. Ist das richtig ???
