Hallo Leute, Ich habe mir heute Abend Prison Architect auf GOG.com gekauft, welches ja gerade Aktion ist. Ich habe die .sh-Datei laufen gelassen und das Setup dementsprechend durchgeführt. Problem: Das Spiel lässt sich nicht starten. Die Icons sehen ziemlich seltsam aus. (Siehe Anhang.) Ich habe bereits versucht das Programm nochmals zu installieren. Die Dokumentation von GOG habe ich bereits durchgelesen, hat mich nicht weitergebracht. Liegt es vielleicht an der 17.04?

Guten Abend Rocky187! Bitte starte das Spiel über das Terminal und poste die Ausgabe hier im Codeblock ❗ - vermutlich fehlen einige Libraries - entweder wird dies bereits angezeigt, oder aber wir können sie dort ermitteln.

Ich kann mir das nicht erklären. Habe das Programm im Ordner per Terminal gestartet. Und es lief. Warum es nicht über das Menü ging weiss ich nicht...
Habe versucht eine Verknüpfung auf den Desktop zu machen, das funktioniert nicht so gut, weil der Ordner geschützt ist. Edit: Es ist aus meiner Sicht kaum praktikabel, dass ich für jedes Mal wenn ich das Spiel starten will, mir Rootrechte geben lassen muss und dann das Spiel umständlich im Ordner zu starten. Wie kann man das lösen? 1

Das ist sowieso eine ganz schlechte Idee. Wie kommst du darauf, dass du root-Rechte brauchst? Starte das mal bitte ohne root. Ich hoffe du hast noch nicht sämtliche Rechte des Spiels verbogen. Dann müssten wir erstmal wieder alles geradebiegen....

Ich komme sonst gar nicht in den Ordner rein. :/ Edit: Ich bin bei Ubuntu ein etwas fortgeschrittener Neuling. Bei Spielen auf Ubuntu sowieso...

Push Das Problem besteht immer noch. Der Ordner kann auch nicht von Déjà-Dup verarbeitet werden. Liegt vielleicht hier das Problem? Dass der Ordner wie unten im Anhang aussieht, also geschützt ist? Wie löse ich das?

Bevor du den Tip unten befolgst: Wo befindet sich dein Ordner? Bitte poste den vollen Pfad im Codeblock! Indem du deinem Nutzer wieder Rechter gibst auf den Ordner zuzugreifen, via chown: | sudo chown -c $USER /media/VERZEICHNIS
|
Wobei "/media/VERZEICHNIS" der Pfad zu deinem GOG-Ordner ist.

Da die Unterordner auch das gleiche Problem hatten, habe ich folgendes angewandt:
| sudo chown -cR $USER "/home/XXXX/GOG Games/"
|
Dann das Spiel deinstalliert und installiert. Und es läuft! Besten Dank!
