ich spiele gerade mit einem Mailserver (Postfix+Dovecot+SQL) und habe diesbezüglich eine Verständnisfrage. So wie ich meine Konfiguration sehem werden alle Mails, die lokal zugestellt werden, an dovecot übergeben (virtual_transport). Die Prüfung, ob es lokale Mails sind, geschieht über virtual_mailbox_domains. Dovecot prüft dann, ob der User bekannt ist und stellt die Mail zu oder sendet eine User Unknown Meldung an den Sender zurück.
Mein nächster Schritt wäre es Aliase hinzuzufügen. Dazu würde ich virtual_alias_maps hinzufügen. Reicht das? Mir ist nicht klar, wozu virtual_mailbox_base und virtual_mailbox_maps gut sind. Braucht man die, wenn man entsprechende Restrictions einbaut bzw. wenn man mit maildrop arbeite?
