Wie gesagt alles sehr merkwürdig! Unpacking iscan-plugin-ds-30 (1.0.0-3) over (1.0.0-3) ... also war es schon Installiert,warum wurde zuerst aber keine Ausgabe bei ls /usr/lib/iscan gezeigt?? Hier mal laden und Installieren http://support.epson.net/linux/en/iscan_c.html

Da hab ich mir ja wieder was "Angelacht" rc iscan-plugin-ds-30 1.0.0-3 amd64 Plugin for the DS-30 Nicht gut! Also mal Versuchen sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt install --reinstall libc6 libgcc1 libstdc++6
cd ~/Downloads/iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb/plugins
sudo dpkg -i iscan-plugin-ds-30_1.0.0-3_amd64.deb

Hinweis zu: cd ~/Downloads/iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb/plugins
Der Link, den ich vorhin bekam fuehrt zu einem anderen Pfad: iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.deb Ist da etwas zu beruecksichtigen? Ich warte mit der Ausfuehrung der eben erhaltenen Jobs bis zur Antwort.

Irgendetwas scheint mit der von http://support.epson.net/linux/en/iscan_c.html geladenen Installation nicht mehr zu passen:
- das gesamte Paket wird gespeichert unter iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.deb.tar.gz und entpackt sich zu iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.deb (also nicht iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb)
- im plugin-Ordner findet sich iscan-network-nt_1.1.1-1_amd64.deb (also nicht iscan-plugin-ds-30_1.0.0-3_amd64.deb) Was war der Grund dieses Paket zu nehmen und nicht das vorher verwendete (iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb)?

Das wird moeglicherweise ein Problem gewesen sein. Der Link (http://support.epson.net/linux/en/iscan_c.html), den du mir zum download und Installation empfohlen hast, beinhaltete eben nicht iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb und auch nicht iscan-plugin-ds-30_1.0.0-3_amd64.deb, sondern die in meinem letzten Post genannte Dateien. Ich werde jetzt also wieder auf iscan-ds-30-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb zurueckkehren und die Installation wie von dir beschrieben mit entsprechend anderen Parametern nochmals durchfuehren. Sollte ich vorher die aktuelle Installation loeschen (und wenn ja, was und wie)? Ich werde erst spaeter am abend dazu kommen - es waere nett, wenn du morgen nochmal vorbei schaust. Nach dem Restart leider wieder das gleiche Bild (auch export SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 && scanimage -L meldet wieder: No scanners were identified.) @Stephan: Fuer heute erst mal Feierabend - es wuerde mich freuen, wenn du dich der Tage wieder meldest wenn dir zu dem Problem noch etwas einfaellt. Danke fuer's erste und Gruss, Thomas

Die Installation sieht fehlerfrei aus,zeige dpkg -l iscan* | grep ii Dann mal echo 'ATTRS{idVendor}=="04b8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0147", ENV{libsane_matched}="yes", MODE="0777"' | sudo tee /etc/udev/rules.d/39-epson.rules Das Gerät einmal abklemmen,kurz warten und wieder anklemmen und Testen. Ausgabe von iscan grep 0147 /lib/udev/rules.d/*

SENSATIONELL - es funktioniert!!! grep 0147 /lib/udev/rules.d/* Funktioniert auch bei direktem Aufruf des Programms! Hast du eine Idee, an welchem Punkt die Installation bisher gescheitert ist?
Ist fuer eine Neuinstallation (iscan ist noch nicht auf dem Rechner) folgende Sequenz ausreichen oder muss da noch etwas ergaenzt werden?
