Hallo Ubuntucommunity,
seit geraumer Zeit nutze ich nun schon auf meinem DesktopPC Ubuntu(Feisty). Letzte Woche hatte ich dann die Chance ein Notebook für eine für mich erschwinglichen Preis zuergattern. Der Kauf lief gut, aber dann schlichen sich die Probleme ein.
Nach mehrmaligem erfolglosen Versuch den ATI Treiber 8.41.7 zum laufen zu bringen, habe ich mich durch die verschiedensten HowTos und Tutorials gearbeitet, dabei waren u.a.:

Für Hinweise bzgl. einer weiteren Vorgehensweise wäre ich sehr dankbar, denn so langsam überlege ich von meinem 14-Tage-Rückgaberecht gebrauch zu machen.
