Hallo, Ich bin gerade dabei einen PDC-Server mit Servergespeicherten profilen zu erstellen. Ich versuche das schon seit 2 wochen (und 23 HowTo's) zu realisieren aber es hat bis jezt noch nicht geklappt. Ich währe froh wenn mir jemand ein gutes ,leichtverständliches Howto empfehelen kann!! Das HowTo ist zwar ohne Kerberos, aber ich führe es trotzdem an: OpenLDAP + Samba Domain Controller On Ubuntu 7.10. Ich hatte mit diesem Erfolg, allerdings muss man ggf. die Index-Optionen des LDAP/slapd vorher schon erweitern/ergänzen, sonst hat man Probleme auf der Samba-Seite mit dem Login o.ä. MfG Dalai

Hallo Danke für die schnelle Antwort! leider hab ich das howto schon benutzt und es lief auch schon – bis zu den server gespeicherten profilen die hat der winxp-pro client nicht gefunden! martin

Servergespeicherte Profile müssen vom Samba ausgehen. Notwendige Einstellungen dafür:

comment = Nutzerprofil

comment = Linux-Homes
path = /home/ Pfade musst du deinen Wünschen entsprechend anpassen. Weiterhin müssen die Nutzer Schreibrechte im /home (logisch) und im /home/samba/profile haben.

Dann probier mal die o.g. Einstellungen. Ich hab's damit funktionsfähig laufen. Zusätzlich hab ich noch logon drive = U: stehen, was auch notwendig erscheint, weil damit auch eine Umgebungsvariable auf den Windowskisten gesetzt wird. MfG Dalai

Hallo Dalai Ich hab dieses Howto noch ma ausprobiert diesmal 1-zu-1 alles konfiguriert. Jezt funktioniert der PDC ohne Fehlermeldungen. ABER: Ich vermute das er die profile einfach lokal speichert. Hier meine smb.conf

Wieso vermutest du, dass die Profile nur lokal gespeichert werden? Schau doch einfach im Verzeichnis /home/samba/profiles nach, ob dort Verzeichnisse wie Anwendungsdaten oder sowas auftauchen. Die Konfig, die du gibst, ist richtig. martin_harder hat geschrieben: Welche ordner müsste ich erstellen und wie die smb.conf konfigurieren damit er alles auf dem server speichert (Eigene Dateien usw.)?
Manuell erstellen musst du gar nichts. Du meldest einfach ne Windowskiste mit einem Samba/LDAP-Nutzer an, dann kriegt der Nutzer ein neues Profil und das wird beim Abmelden auf den Server kopiert. MfG Dalai

Im Abschnitt [profiles] fehlt ein Eintrag: writeable = yes. Standard ist read only = yes (Synonym für writeable) und damit ist diese Freigabe nur lesbar. Allerdings müsste Windows beim Abmelden des Nutzers meckern, dass er das Profil nicht auf den Server zurückschreiben kann. MfG Dalai

Du solltest den Ordner schon selbst erstellen. Ich glaube nicht das Samba den Ordner selbst erstellt (steht meine ich sogar in der Config: "Un-comment the following and create the profiles directory to store... ")

Achso, na dann. Ja, den musst du selbst erstellen, ebenso /home/samba/netlogon. Aber die Profile selbst in /home/samba/profiles/<user> musst du nicht selbst erstellen, das macht jede Windowskiste beim Abmelden eines Nutzers. MfG Dalai

Hallo Dalai, ich bin jezt soweit gekommen das er in die domäne reingeht ohne zu meckern das ein profil fehlt! Er führt jezt das netlogon script aus und erstellt ein netzlaufwerk aber auf dem netzlaufwerk kann ich nichts schreiben. gruß martin

Bitte ein bisschen konkreter. Um welches Laufwerk geht's? Wie sieht die Freigabe dazu in der smb.conf aus? Wie sind die Rechte auf das Verzeichnis gesetzt (inkl. Besitzer)? MfG Dalai
