Mit dri läufts mittlerweile (xorg intel-treiber von PPA) aber so richtig gesund sieht der Desktop damit nicht aus (Fenster sind teilweise nicht texturiert, manche Buchstaben verschwinden etc.).
So weit ich das bisher rausgefunden habe, ist mein Problem einfach, dass der aktuelle Intel-Treiber noch ein bisschen Buggy ist und meinen Chip leider so schlecht unterstützt, dass X mit DRI über kurz oder lang abstürzt.
Leider dank Neuerungen in 9.04 geht Xv nicht mehr ohne DRI und DRI nicht mit meiner Karte.
