Ja, ich weiß, bin am Testen der Entwicklerversion, wollte aber, bevor ich einen Bug melde, andere eventuelle Ursachen ausschließen. Also der Scanner ist ein Epson 4870 Photo und läuft eigentlich ohne Probleme mit Linux. Unter Debian Testing hatte ich keine Probleme, jetzt aber unter 18.04 wird er nicht angesteuert.
Nun wird ja seit 17.10 libsane1 statt libsane verwendet, weiß nicht ob es daran liegen kann.

Ich war nicht in der Gruppe Scanner und hatte das mit sudo usermod -aG scanner mikey geändert, aber ohne Auswirkungen. Hat noch jemand eine Idee, wo ich hinschauen könnte. Ach ja, libusb-0.1-4 habe ich auch nachinstalliert. Vielleicht ist es ja ein Rechteproblem?
