ich stehe gerade auf dem Schlauch, ich hab ein älteres NB von Toshiba vor mir auf dem Vista installiert ist und auch bleiben soll. In dem NB sind offensichtlich zwei physische Festplatten verbaut.

Die /dev/sdb ist komplett leer und würde sich für Ubuntu anbieten. Allerdings ist auf /dev/sda die dritte Partition auch fast leer und verschwendeter Platz. Was mach ich mit dem am Sinnvollsten? Oder installiere ich Ubuntu auf sda3 und weise dem /home die gesamte sdb zu? Nur sind für Ubuntus / und swap ca. 128 GiB auf sda3 etwas viel. Übrigens, wie ich schon schrieb, Vista soll bleiben und wird nur noch zum Offlinespielen von Windowsspielen genutzt. Hier noch ein paar Daten zum System:
