Seit 2/3 Tagen laesst sich bei mir Skype nicht mehr starten. Dapper/Gnome ... waehrend dem Startup bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung.

Nach recherche im Internet ist das frueher schon passiert aber konnte leider keiner Nachvollziehen:

Du hast keine neue Version von Skype installiert?

Am Montag gab es ein Update:

das Problem ist hier beschrieben:

Evtl. handelt es sich um ein Problem mit SCIM.

Als Lösung bitte mal in einem Terminal folgende Zeile eingeben:

QT_IM_MODULE=xim skype

Damit konnte ich dann Skype starten!

Leider habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden, wie ich diesen Befehl in das GNOME Sartmenü eintrage?

Hat evtl. jemand eine Lösung?

Erstelle ein Script dafür (weiß nicht ob es funktioniert, aber sollte schon)

#!/bin/bash
#startet skype

QT_IM_MODULE=xim skype

chmod u+x scriptname

mv scriptname /usr/bin/

mit alacarte dann Pfad von Skype verändern.

Skype wählen, Eigenschaften, Befehl:

sh -c "QT_IM_MODULE=xim skype"

Das sollte man im Wiki vermerken...
