Good Evening to everybody! I don't get access to my web server anymore after I tried to set a website password protection with htaccess...
When I restart my web server apache2 it shows: AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 10.0.2.15. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message And after I tried to fix this issue I get this error message: apache2: Syntax error on line 228 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/apache2.conf: No such file or directory
Action 'configtest' failed. Then I wanted to look in my apache2.conf but I cannot open it. What's wrong - why can't I open apache2.conf?? And why is it red?
(I tried to get in with "cd" and "less" and both as a root user...) I'm very happy for any help ☺

Hi, "red" in the output of ls would be a broken link. How did you edit the configuration?
apache2: Syntax error on line 228 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/apache2.conf: No such file or directory Action 'configtest' failed.
The message says, that /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/apache2.conf exists, but could not be read, the broken link. Could you show ls -l /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/ to see where the link should go to? I assume that the link should not be there and can be deleted anyway, but let's wait for the output.

I just thought the likelihood of getting answers will be higher when it's written in english...

* Restarting web server apache2 AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 10.0.2.15.
