Heyho,
ich habe mir MATLAB R2012b installiert, was soweit auch super funktioniert hat. Über die Shell kann ich es mit "sh ~/Vorlagen/matlab/R2012b/bin/matlab" starten.
Jetzt habe ich versucht mir mit der Anleitung (http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Matlab) einen Unity Starter zu erstellen. Also "sudo wget http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/Matlab_Logo.png -O /usr/share/icons/matlab.png" und "gksudo gedit /usr/share/applications/matlab.desktop" ausgeführt und mir den Starter aus "/usr/share/applications/" ins Programmenü gezogen.
Das Symbol sieht schick aus und anfänglich sieht es auch immer so aus als ob das Programm gestartet wird. Leider passiert dann aber garnichts mehr und Matlab öffnet sich nicht wie es ja eigentlich passieren sollte..
Hier nochmal der Inhalt meiner Desktop-Verknüpfung (/usr/share/applications/matlab.desktop):

Hat jemand ne Ahnung was ich falsch mache bzw. woran es liegen kann? Das kann doch nicht so kompliziert sein 😉 Unter GNOME ging das immer easy über einen Anwendungsstarter..
