Moin moin, bei allen dynamischen Bildern habe ich Streifen im Bild. Ich habe rausgefunden, daß es sich wohl im das Phänomen "Tearing" handelt. Laut der "man intel" kann man das abstellen. Nur leider weiss ich nicht wie. "man intel Eintrag":
Option "TearFree" "boolean"
Disable or enable TearFree updates. This option forces X to per‐
form all rendering to a backbuffer prior to updating the actual
display. It requires an extra memory allocation the same size as
a framebuffer, the occasional extra copy, and requires Damage
tracking. Thus enabling TearFree requires more memory and is
slower (reduced throughput) and introduces a small amount of
output latency, but it should not impact input latency. However,
the update to the screen is then performed synchronously with
the vertical refresh of the display so that the entire update is
completed before the display starts its refresh. That is only
one frame is ever visible, preventing an unsightly tear between
two visible and differing frames. Note that this replicates what
the compositing manager should be doing, however TearFree will
redirect the compositor updates (and those of fullscreen games)
directly on to the scanout thus incurring no additional overhead
in the composited case. Also note that not all compositing man‐
agers prevent tearing, and if the outputs are rotated, there
will still be tearing without TearFree enabled.
Default: TearFree is disabled.
Die Datei "xorg.conf", wo ich die Änderung vornehmen muss (glaube ich), scheint wohl vorhanden zu sein.
Aber dort steht nichts drinne. Muss ich das selber eintragen? Und wenn ja, was? Gruß, Rasant

Sicher, dass das nicht einfach Interlacing ist? Tearing verursacht Brüche im Bild, die dabei entstehenden Streifen kann man mit einer Hand abzählen, das sind nur in extremen Fällen mehr wie zwei. Tearing tritt auch ohne eine Bildsynchronisierung in der Regel nicht auf, da die Latenzen niedrig genug sind dass es entweder gar nicht dazu kommt oder man es schlicht nicht wahrnehmen kann. Die Desktopeffekte hebeln nebenbei die Bildsynchronisation der Videowiedergabe aus, die würde ich mal deaktivieren - die fallen bei Mate ohnehin nur sehr schlicht aus. Vorausgesetzt es ist Tearing, du nutzt den Intel Treiber überhaupt und dieser wird nicht durch andere Probleme behindert. ▶ „Welche Angaben zum System sind für ein neues Thema nötig?“ Rasant schrieb: scheint wohl vorhanden zu sein. Aber dort steht nichts drinne.
So sieht es nunmal aus, wenn du eine Datei mit einem Texteditor öffnest, die es nicht gibt.

Hallo Letalis_Sonus, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, daß es sich um Tearing handelt. Es sind auch eher Brüche! In dem Wikiartikel " https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_Tearing " wird es ganz gut beschrieben. Bei mir sind auch diagonale Brüche bei. Ich habe hier einen 4K Monitor welcher wohl mit 30Hz angesteuert wird. Da ich aber nur HDMI 1.4 habe, welche aber nur 24Hz unterstützt, gehe ich stark davon aus, daß der Hase dort im Pfeffer liegt. laus@Blackbox:~$ lspci -nnk | grep "VGA\|'Kern'\|3D\|Display" -A2

Der Bildschirm kriegt nur was er auch behauptet zu unterstützten. HDMI 1.4 kann 30Hz, der Bildschirm behauptet 30Hz zu unterstützen, er kriegt auch 30Hz geliefert. Das System zaubert sich keine Bildschirmmodi aus dem Hintern, die kommen allesamt vom angeschlossenen Bildschirm. Es stimmt aber schon, dass 30Hz sehr ungünstig für Videomaterial mit 24 oder 25 FPS ist - mit entsprechenden Gegenmaßnahmen wie TearFree könnte es zu anderen wahrnehmbaren Nebeneffekten kommen, da die Bilder nicht mehr gleichmäßig genug dargestellt werden. Ich warte immer noch auf den Log.

Meine Grafikkarte " Intel® HD Graphics 630 " kann bei einer Auflösung von 4096x2304 nur 24Hz. Kann es damit was zu tun haben?

Der aktuelle Bildschirmmodus ist eingestellt, weil die Hardware dies unterstützt - das gilt nicht nur für den Fernseher, sondern auch für die Grafikkarte! Der einschränkende Teil ist die Bandbreite, also Auflösung x Bildwiederholfrequenz x Farbtiefe - es gibt hier keine einzeln unterstützten und nicht unterstützten Modi, was in die Bandbreite reinpasst wird vom Grafikchip auch unterstützt. Und wie ich es mir gedacht habe: Du nutzt den intel X Treiber gar nicht. Dieser wird wegen der extrem vernachlässigten Entwicklung durch Intel nur noch für sehr alte Grafikchips verwendet.

Laut der Ausgabe von xrandr gibt es ja auch noch einen DisplayPort - damit sollte bei 4k eine höhere Bildwiederholrate möglich sein.

Falls es sich überhaupt um einen Monitor handelt. Kennst du einen anderen Hersteller als Panasonic, der DisplayPort in Fernsehern verbaut? Ich nicht.

Es gibt ja auch DisplayPort auf HDMI 2.0 Adapter.

Das Mainboard (Asus H270M-Plus) hat keinen Displayport. Keine Ahnung warum es in der Software angezeigt wird. Der Monitor ist ein Eizo.
Ich müsste mir jetzt ein neues Mainboard kaufen um einen Displayport mein eigen nennen zu können. Erstmal versuche ich jetzt ein vernünftiges Bild bei bewegten Bilder zu bekommen. Also zurück zum roten Faden. Ich habe mit dem Tool "Intel Graphics Update Tool for Linux" den aktuellsten treiber installieren lassen. Aber bis vor ich mir dieses Tool installiert habe, hatte ich die Selben Probleme. Deshalb habe ich mir ja das Tool installiert. Also "out of the Box" war es auch nicht gut. Was wäre denn jetzt der richtige Treiber?

Man könnte auch eine ordentliche Grafikkarte dazustecken... das ist der typische Fehler vor dem Kauf die Datenblätter nicht aufmerksam zu lesen 😈 Erstmal versuche ich jetzt ein vernünftiges Bild bei bewegten Bilder zu bekommen. Also zurück zum roten Faden.
Im Prinzip brauchst du ein Snippet in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ für die Intel-GPU: Intel_graphics und da muss dann noch die Option für das tearfree rein: Intel_graphics

Weil bei den Intel IGPs die Board Hersteller für die Verfügbaren Anschlüsse verantwortlich sind. Die Schnittstelle ist vorhanden, die Buchse und evtl nötige externe Hardwarekomponenten nicht. Rasant schrieb: Was wäre denn jetzt der richtige Treiber?
Es gibt nur einen, der ist bereits vorinstalliert.

@ Letalis_Sonus: War der bereits Vorinstalliert oder ist er jetzt installiert? Kann ich jetzt alles so lassen und muss nur noch nach der Anleitung von Seahawk1986 weiter machen? @ Seahawk1986: In welche Datei? /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ oder /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf? Muss das dann so aussehen?
