Habe versucht, ein BIOS Update runterzuladen, aber ich finde nur ein zip mit einer .bat und .exe, also für Windows...

Steht im BIOS "Version 1.07 Release 06/08/2012" oder "Version 1.07 Release 08/06/2012"? Auf der Webseite habe ich nur letzteres gefunden. Etwas verwirrend, wenn sie auf der Webseite ein anderes Datumsformat verwenden, als im BIOS. Du kannst die BIOS-Version auch mit sudo dmidecode -t bios anzeigen lassen. |

Also wenn man den Deckel zuklappt, geht er nach Standby und bleibt auch drin, bis man irgendwann den Deckel wieder aufklappt. Das Touchpad funktioniert dann. Hallo, es kann sein, dass eine Aktualisierung des BIOS das Problem löst. Auf der Webseite von Fujitsu steht in der Beschreibung der BIOS-Aktualisierungsdatei unter "Gelöste Probleme" unter anderem etwas wie: "Unterstützung dafür, dass Windows nach Herunterfahren im Hybridmodus in die Modi F2/F12 starten kann" (Original: "Solved problems: Support Windows can boot into F2/F12 after Hybrid shutdown."). Ob das etwas mit dem Problem unter Linux zu tun hat, weiß ich nicht. Aber wir waren ja schon mal so weit, dass das Touchpad funktioniert hat, nur nicht nach dem Standby. Dafür gibt es eventuell eine Lösung. Daher schlage ich vor, wir machen da weiter. Bringe also die Datei "grub" wieder in den Zustand wie hier: https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/post/9089139/, d. h.: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i8042.notimeout i8042.nomux quiet splash" Öffne danach ein Terminal und gib ein: sudo update-grub Starte den Computer neu. Hallo, ok, nur damit ich das richtig verstehe: Diese Sache mit dem Skript müsste ich jetzt nur machen, wenn ich das Touchpad auf andere Weise zum Laufen bringen will als per grub. Und das soll ich deswegen machen, damit das automatische Wiedereinschalten nicht mehr passiert, korrekt? Gäbe es denn alternativ die Option, das BIOS Update irgendwie durchzuführen und damit das Problem ggf. zu beheben? Auf der FUJITSU-Seite finde ich das hier, siehe Anhang. Mit dem FreeDOS, das würde ich doch vielleicht hinbekommen. Komisch, dass man dann nur das 1.09 Update bekommt. Und nur mit Windows auf 1.10. |

Mit der Zeile in der Datei Mit der genannten Zeile in
Korrekt. Das BIOS-Update mit FreeDOS wäre die richtige Methode. Die Frage ist, ob das das Problem löst. Ein BIOS-Update stellt jedenfalls ein größeres Risiko dar, als die Datei Wenn das mit dem Skript nicht funktionieren sollte, d. h. dass das Touchpad nach dem Standby nicht funktioniert, kannst du immer noch das BIOS-Update machen. |

Hallo zusammen, leider habe ich wohl einen Fehler gemacht, und zwar ein Upgrade auf Ubuntu 20.04.... Jetzt funktioniert das Touchpad nicht mehr, vorher war alles gut. Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Beißen sich vielleicht die vielen Treiber, die ich versucht habe, zu installieren? Das gepinnte Thema nennt nicht ohne Grund zwei verschiedene Pfade. GDM startet den X Server bevorzugt mit Nutzerrechten, wenn der Grafiktreiber dies erlaubt - dann liegt auch der Log im Nutzerverzeichnis. |

Das mit den verschiedenen Pfaden hatte ich tatsächlich überlesen. Dennoch habe ich die Datei nicht gefunden, siehe Screenshot. Im Var/Log Ordner ist sie nicht. und einen .local-Ordner habe ich nicht gefunden. Auch wenn die versteckten Dateien angezeigt werden. Wie auch immer, das Touchpad funktioniert seltsamerweise wieder. Ich habe die Grub-Datei auf den Stand GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i8042.notimeout i8042.nomux quiet splash" gebracht. Das hatte ich vor ein paar Tagen auch versucht, ich hatte nur den Befehl update-grub danach vergessen. Es bleibt also seltsam, warum das Touchpad nach dem Upgrade nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Ein Upgrade ändert doch nicht die Grub-Datei, oder? Und das Problem, dass der Rechner nach dem Shutdown nach 3 Sekunden wieder startet, ist immer noch vorhanden. Das BIOS-Update habe ich sogar gemacht, auf 1.09. Gibt es dafür vielleicht noch eine Lösung? |
