Habe eine neue Hauptplatine und kann meine Logitech Surround Sound Speakers 506 nicht mehr in gewohnter Qualität nutzen. Der Verkäufer des PCs meinte bei meiner Frage hinsichtlich des Einbaus einer zusätzlichen Sound-Karte dass der Onboard-Sound super sei. Der Verkäufer der neuen Hauptplatine [out-pic] wusste welche Ausgänge meine vorherige hatte [out-pic]; auch das Gehäuse sei toll versprach er mir — gesehen habe ich dieses und die Ausgänge erst nach dem Kauf. Die mit dem Tiefklangverstärker verbundenen Stecker wichen und weichen farblich ab: den Surround-Sound ermöglichte die Kombination Grün-Schwarz-Orange in der oberen Reihe (Ersteres gemäß Büchse Weiß, Verkabelung lag Jahre zurück, möglicherweise funktionierte auch Grün), die untere Büchsenkombination Rot-Grün-Blau entspricht der der neuen Platine, also genau das was ich vorher nicht in Anspruch nahm — und dies offensichtlich nicht ohne Grund. Als ich nachfragte sagte mir ein anderer Verkäufer dass diese Platine fürwahr keinen richtigen Surround-Sound ermögliche, ein solches (unter Windows) aber imitiert werden könne oder so. Mein Hardware-Wechsel erfolgte gleichzeitig mit dem Wechsel zu Ubuntu 18. In Xfce's Audio mixer ist nun HD-Audio Generic Analog Stereo angegeben; Digital Surround 5.1/7.1 (HDMI 1,2,3,4) Output (unplugged) lassen sich nicht nutzen. Egal in welcher Reihenfolge die Stecker drin sind erreiche ich maximal stereo, mal über die vorderen und mal über die hinteren Lautsprecher. Die Website jedoch verspricht 7.1 CH HD Audio (Realtek ALC887 Audio Codec), ELNA Audio Caps. Ließe sich 5.1 also nutzen? Bedarf es dazu eines anderen Mixers? Ist dies nur unter Windows möglich? Weshalb hatte meine acht Jahre alte Platine doppelt so viel auf dem Kasten? 5.1 müsste in Arbeits- und Wohnzimmern doch längst etabliert sein… dieses Neugerät erscheint hingegen wie ein Rückfall in die Neunziger. Seltsamerweise scheinen aber auch die anderen Hauptplatinen dieses Verkäufers lediglich mit drei Büchsen ausgestattet. Kennt wer ein aktuelles (zu Ubuntu und idealerweise zum ATSAM4 Ryzen 3 und zur PCIE GTX 1060 kompatibles) Modell mit Onboard-Sound wie ich ihn vorher hatte? Oder muss für solche 'Fälle' doch eine ganze Sound-Karte her? Bitte bis Montag Vormittag antworten!

Ja, solch einen Ausgang hat die Hauptplatine. Könnte ich meinen relativ neuen Monitor nun anschließen, aber man hatte mir gesagt DVI sei gleichwertig oder sogar besser, und Töne gibt das Gerät meines Wissens nach sowieso nicht aus — zu diesem Zweck steht direkt daneben ein fetter Woofer. (Grafik on board, Grafikkarte mit sound … verrückte Technik.) Dachte zunächst es sei eSATA, aber selbst hieran mangelt es der Platine; die vorherige hatte zwei oder noch mehr davon! (Sei mittlerweile nicht mehr Standard — gerne Modelle nennen die diesen Anschluss noch haben!) Im Audio mixer hatte es zuvor eine Auflistung solcher Optionen gegeben (2.0 … 5.1 … 7.1), bei denen ich alles auswählen konnte. 5.1 hat dann auch 5.1 ausgegeben. Nun scheint eine solche Möglichkeit überhaupt nicht mehr gegeben.

War vorher auch sowas drin, mit einer 2 statt der 10; laut Linux-abgeneigtem Verkäufer am Wochenende ein Stromfresser gewesen (weil man unter Linux nicht richtig zocken könne .. oder kann ... ich hab's in den acht Jahren ehrlich gesagt nie ausprobiert) Hat nur Analog. Steht zur Zeit auf active profile: <output:analog-stereo+input:analog-stereo>
Statt Dolby Digital? Ich kenn mich mit Tontechnik nicht aus. Lässt sich das auf output:analog-surround umstellen damit der Ton auf alle Boxen verteilt wird oder wie meinte der Verkäufer das wohl mit dem Imitieren? Hat die Farbe der Büchsen denn auch eine Bedeutung? Kann ja nicht sein dass alle Mainboards nun mit dieser Kombi ausgestattet sind und alle Käufer nur noch stereo haben und ihre 5.1/7.1-Soundsysteme nicht mehr anstöpseln können.

Solche Platinen-Icons habe ich dort nicht, ist wohl eine andere Version, aber diese Auswahl kenne ich von früher … da stand halt noch nichts mit HDMI sondern das war der normale Onboard-Sound der sich auch nutzen ließ Kellerkind_2009 fügte an: Download Ausgang.png
Dann hatte ich also Analog-Ausgang (line level), Stereo, für Lautsprecher oder Kopfhöhrer in Analog-Eingang (line level) für Surround-Lautsprecher (mitte) … naja, immerhin Reihenschaltung Und warum haben die aktuellen Hauptplatinen keine Subwoofer- und Surround-Eingänge? Das verstehe ich immer noch nicht. Dem Anschein nach brauche ich so eine, weil der Audio mixer die Ströme nicht verteilen kann. Was soll ich mit zwei Mikrofon- und Kopfhörer-Eingängen an der Vorder- und Hinterseite… Bitte ein adäquates Board empfehlen! (CPU s.o.)

War schon auf HD, mehr gibt's dort hinsichtlich Sound nicht zu konfigurieren

Habe auch die anderen Mixer ausprobiert, die mich nicht weiterbringen, auch nicht das FlatPak PulseEffects, bei dem sich noch nicht mal was anwählen lässt

Ich habe es mal Übersetzen lassen Zur Konfiguration von 7.1 CH HD Audio ist es erforderlich, ein HD-Audiomodul an der Vorderseite zu verwenden und die Mehrkanal-Audiofunktion über den Audiotreiber zu aktivieren. An den Hinteren 3 Buchsen vom Mainboard wird das wohl nichts. (1x Audio out,2x Audio in) Hinten also nur Stereo möglich. Ansonsten bin ich überfragt 😇

Aber vorne sind noch weniger, quasi das selbe wie hinten ohne blau Habe gerade sowas gefunden: http://drona.csa.iisc.ernet.in/~uday/surround-pulse.shtml gksu(do) gibt es ja nicht mehr, als ich dann via admin:///etc/pulse/daemon.conf ebendiese Datei mit LibreOffice (normalerweise öffnet Mousepad) bearbeitete und (als reine Textdatei) speicherte und pulseaudio -k ins Terminal eingab bekam ich E: [pulseaudio] conf-parser.c: [/etc/pulse/daemon.conf:1] Missing '=' … dabei hatte ich ja eigentlich nur die Ziffer geändert und es scheinen auch noch alle Gleichzeichen vorhanden Der Platinenhersteller hat auch eigene Treiber, aber offensichtlich nur für Windows: https://www.asrock.com/support/index.asp?cat=Drivers
