So, über "reset firewall" aus der firewall configuration habe ich es wieder hinbekommen. Jetzt bin ich wieder auf dem Thinkpad.
In iwconfig habe ich vorhin schon Tx-Power auf "auto" gestellt. Die iptables Zeile habe ich noch einmal eingegeben, dieses Mal ohne negative Konsequenzen.
