Hi, ich kann im Sperrbildschirm leider nicht Wayland als Display Server auswählen. Nur Ubunut und Gnome Classic. Installiert ist es aber wohl: ls -l /usr/share/{x,wayland-}sessions/
/usr/share/wayland-sessions/:
insgesamt 4
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 314 Mär 26 13:22 ubuntu-wayland.desktop
/usr/share/xsessions/:
insgesamt 8

Muss ich hier einfach die Raute entfernen?

Hi Lidux, ich brauch es nicht. Ich habe es nur immer mal wieder mir einer neuen Ubuntuversion ausprobiert und wunder mich nun warum ich es nicht mehr im Sperrbildschirm auswählen kann. malo

Hallo malo66, Ab 19.10 wurde in Ubuntu das Wayland erstmal auf "Eis" gelegt ..... Gruss Lidux

Ok, was genau meinst du damit? Installiert ist es ja offensichtlich, warum kann ich es dann nicht benutzen? dpkg -l | grep wayland

Deine Wayland Installation ist anscheinend für einen QT basierten Desktop wie KDE. Keine Ahnung welche Desktops noch auf QT basieren.

Keine Ahnung.. Ich würde bei mir in so einem Fall xwayland per purge deinstallieren, danach ein autoremove, evtl. noch nach der Ursache der QT Installationen suchen und deinstallieren und danach xwayland wieder installieren.

Ok. Dennoch tritt das Problem erst jetzt auf. Und die Programme habe ich schon seit Ewigkeiten auf dem Rechner. Ich werde es einfach mit einer Neuinstallation von wayland probieren.
