Ubuntustart-Meldung: über das Problem wird mir nichts mitgeteilt, gleich ob ich es melde oder abbreche. Die Code-Meldung zum ESD-ISO erscheint in Gparted nur,wenn Gparte4d von der Rescue-CD gestartet wird, nicht wenn es in Ubuntu aufgerufen wird. In keiner dieser beiden Möglichkeiten kann ich mit Gparted auf der ESD-ISO ein Bootflag setzen. helmutius

Du wirst den USB-Stick ja eh neu formatieren müssen. Hast du denn unsere Vorschläge schonmal durchprobiert? Wie gesagt, wird dd nicht helfen und gparted als Lösung des Problems wäre mir ebenfalls neu. |

Nach stundenlangem Suchen, Prüfen, Verwerfen ist es mir gelungen , WoeUSB mit PPA zu installieren und mit der Win10.iso zu starten. Leider vergebens: unknown command line argument lautet die Antwort. Das USB-Stick, bei „sudo parted“ als „/dev/sdb“ bezeichnet, wird unter „Dateien“ als „media/helmut/83FC-CFA9“ geführt. Beide Bezeichnungen führten zum gleichen Ergebnis. Außer der Partition devsda und devsr0 werden in parted alle Teile in eimer Loop-Partitionstabelle geführt, wohl durch PPA hervorgeruten. Moin helmutius, wie Deinem geposteten Codeblock zu entnehmen ist, hast Du bei Deinem letzten Versuch woeusb nicht korrekt aufgerufen. in woeusb werden 2 Beispiele aufgeführt. Möglichkeit 1: auf eine vorhandene FAT Partition...entfällt für Dich, da im Win.iso eine Datei > 4BG vorhanden ist! Also Variante 2 sudo woeusb --device /Pfad/zum/Win10_1709_German_x64.iso /dev/sdX Die Darstellung mag etwas unglücklich sein, aber das Programm 'antwortet' Dir ja mit einem Fehler: - > Unknown command-line argument "–/dev/sdb"

Ubuntu ist im BIOS-Modus imstalliert. Kann es sein, daß Win10 bei einer Neuinstallatio im EFI-Modus installiert wird? In dem Artikel „EFI-Modus umstellen„ heißt es. „ein Mischbetrieb aus EFI-Modus mit BIOS-Modus wird von GRUB 2 nicht unterstützt!“ Wo in Windows kann ich das feststellen? Es ist ja installiert, kommt nur nicht über den ersten Neustart hinaus. Aber die Dateien sind da, ein Paket Windows-Old-Dateien hab ich in den Papierkorb geworfen. Wenn ich Ubuntu auf EFI umstellen muß, gilt der Arbeitsplan: 1. EFI Grundlagen, 2. EFI installieren, 3. EFI-Nachbearbeitung, 4. Das EFI-Werkzeug. Da ich die Windows nur durch einen Neustart aktivieren kann und dabei Ubuntu jedesmal ausgeschaltet wird, suche ich im WIKI nach Daten- und Systemsicherung. Systembak – letztes update ist 3,5 Jahre alt, weitere nicht mmmehr zu erwarten. Deja-dup ist vorhanden, man weiß es nur nicht. Ich hab es jetzt installiert. helmutius |

da befragst du die Suchmaschine Deines geringsten Vertrauens → "windows prüfen auf efi" und erhälst im 1. Treffer → https://www.com-magazin.de/tipps-tricks/bios/laeuft-pc-bios-uefi-1036222.html (bißchen mehr Eigeninitiative) Btw.: für Ubuntu benutzt Du ein LiveSystem und das Terminal → [ -d /sys/firmware/efi ] && echo UEFI || echo BIOS
Red' doch mal vernünftig deutsch! "gilt der Arbeitsplan"? (soll das bedeuten, daß Du, falls Du umstellen mußt, nach folgendem Plan...vorgehen willst?) Lesen/studieren ist nie verkehrt, aber das ist ja kein "Arbeitsplan" für eine Umstellung! allerdings liefert Dir das Wiki durchaus einen Arbeitplan (und zwar haarklein!) für das Vorhaben → GRUB 2 von BIOS nach EFI umstellen
was meinst Du schon wieder damit? Die "Aktivierung" von Windows hat doch nichts mit dem Starten zu tun?
wenn Du keines machst, so ganz von alleine wird da auch keins kommen!

Das Schreiben der Win10-ISO auf das USB-Stick scheitert daran, daß das Stick eingehängt ist, woeusb verlangt unmount. Wenn ich es auswerfe, wird es nicht gefunden, ein anderes "unmount" bietet mir der Explorer nicht an. |
