Suche dringenst Unterstützung, respektive Work around....
Habe hier ein altes Notebook eines eingefleischten M$ Benutzers, der bei mir Kubuntu gesehen hat und irgendwie den Touch erfasst hat, was Linux für ihn bedeuten kann.
Das Notebook soll für seine Mutter sein, die dann mit ihm per e-mail kommunizieren will, ihre Digitalfotos bearbeiten und etwas im Internet surfen möchte. Nun kommt das eigentliche Thema. Sie ist an mehreren Plätzen in Deutschland unterwegs, wo sie kein DSL, kein WLAN und kein ISDN zur Verfügung hat.
Dieses Notebook hat nämlich ein Winmodem, das von Linux nicht unterstützt wird - es gibt hier keinen Treiber unter Kernel 2.6.*. Es handelt sich hierbei um das Modem V90 HAM von Ambient Technologie. Es soll nach meiner Recherche noch ein Treiber für den 2.4.* Kernel geben, der aus dem Jahre 2001 stammt, ist mir aber etwas zu windig.
Ich habe hier noch in meinem wohlsortierten HW Zoo eine PCIMIA Karte von AnyCom gefunden (ECO II), die laut Recherchen sehr gut von Linux unterstützt sein soll.
Die scheint sich nun aber mit obigem Modem zu beissen. Stecke ich die Anycon Karte ein, bootet Kubuntu nicht. Es bleibt beim Laden der HW Treiber hängen. Dies kann aber kaum an dem PCI bus liegen, da er meine WLAN Karte, die ich zum Aufsetzen des Notebooks nutzte hervorragend bedient. Stecke ich jedoch die AnyCom Karte ein, wird sie nicht erkannt.
Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich die AnyCom Karte zum laufen bekommen kann? Liege ich richtig, dass ein IRQ Konflikt vorliegen kann (Ethernetkarte, und Yenda)? Wie löse ich den? Gibt es Alternativen - andere Karte - etc.?

P.S eth0 configuriert, bekomme es aber nicht zum laufen... WLAN funktioniert jedoch einwandfrei.. - daher vermute ich IRQ Konflikt bei Interrupt 10.
