Hallo Ubuntu-User,

ich hatte schon mal eine WLAN-Verbindung und weiß nicht, warum ich die plötzlich nicht mehr hab. Soviel ich verstanden hab, fehlt da jetzt der Treiber, oder? Ich bin der Wiki-Anleitung gefolgt, aber jetzt weiß ich nicht so recht welchen Treiber ich brauche und wo ich ihn runter laden kann.

Diesem Artikel: WLAN/Broadcom bcm43xx? Was sagt denn der restricted-manager dazu? Treiber heissen unter Linux Kernelmodule und brauchen normalerweise nicht heruntergeladen zu werden, da sie schon Bestandteil von Linux sind.

Naja, mein erster Beitrag ist das hier nicht - aber für meinen eigenen Account (dollpatsch) hab ich kein Passwort mehr, deshalb hab ich für meine Tochter einen angelegt, deren Notebook ich hier einrichte.

Der Chipsatz ist ein BCM4313. Liefere bitte noch diese Angaben nach:

versuche, den Treiber zu reinstallieren:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source

dann unter "Hardwaretreiber" diesen de- und wieder reaktivieren. Evtl. rebooten. Verschlüsselung auf reines WPA2-AES wenns geht, MAC-Filter im Router sollte "aus" sein. Kontrolliere danach:

iwconfig
lsmod
dmesg | grep wl
route -n

Wo kann ich die Verschlüsselung einstellen?

Die Verschlüsselung und den MAC-Filter kannst du im Router-Interface umstellen. Per Kabelverbindung im Firefox eingeben:

http://192.168.178.1

Wegen dem Treiber mal nen Neustart probieren.
