Guten Abend, eins vorweg: Meine Linux-Kenntnisse sind mehr als rudimentär - damit Ihr wisst, mit wem Ihr es zu tun habt.
Auf meinem 12 Jahre alten Dell (Backup-Gerät) möchte ich den Wlan-Treiber des eingebauten Adapters (Intel Centrino Advanced-N) gegen den Treiber des per USB angeschlossenen Netgear A7000 (Realtek 8814au) austauschen. Den Treiber für den 8814au habe ich von Github heruntergeladen und installiert.Jetzt möchte ich den Centrino Advanced-N gerne deaktivieren, kann aber leider das entsprechende Modul nicht identifizieren. Kurz und gut: ich lade jetzt einmal die nötigen Informationen hoch und bitte um Hilfe bei der Deaktivierung bzw. Aktivierung des jeweiligen Treibers.
