Hallo Leute, seit dem Wechsel zur Version 11 habe ich folgendes, für mich sehr seltsames, Problem. Ich nutze Ubuntu auf einem älteren PC und habe, ehrlich gesagt, keine wirkliche Peilung was ich da mache und leider fehlt mir die Zeit tiefer in die Materie vorzudringen (im Beruf bin ich gezwungen Windows zu nutzen). Falls jemandem etwas dazu einfällt, bitte Idioten sicher vermitteln ☺ WLAN PCI Karte Netgear WG 311v3 Bei jedem 2. oder 3. Start wird die Karte nicht erkannt. Laut iwconfig "no wireless extensions".

Beim nächsten oder übernächsten Rechnerstart wird die Karte erkannt und stellt die Verbindung problemlos her.

Ich habe Karte bereits in einen anderen Port umgesteckt, leider ohne Erfolg. Hat jemand eine Idee für mich?

Die Ausgabe von dmesg könnte hier weitere Erkenntnisse liefern, am besten einmal wenn es funktioniert hat und einmal wenn nicht. lspci ebenfalls dazu.

Igendwie wird es nichts mit der "Version wenn funktioniert". ch habe jetzt einige Neustarts durchgeführt, aber die Kiste meint wohl für heute genug getan zu haben (letzte Verbindung vor 1 Stunde).

Achso und ja, die Infos zum Erstellen eines neuen Beitrages habe ich gelesen, weiß aber trotzdem nicht mit welchen Informationen ich (aufgrund von geht- geht nicht) sonst noch dienen kann. Der Router ist eine Fritz Box, WPA 2 , SSID wird übertragen und das Macbook neben mir hat vollen Empfang, wie auch Ubuntu - wenn es denn geht.

Manuelle Installation Ndiswrapper

Achtung!

Ndiswrapper und die Pakete aus den offiziellen Paketquellen sind unter Ubuntu 12.10 fehlerhaft und dürfen momentan nicht verwendet werden! Fehlerreport 1023645 mit Lösungsmöglichkeit.

Aktuell werden Installationspakete für Version 1.58rc1 über ein PPA angeboten. Dies ist die einfachste Lösung auch ohne bestehende Internetverbindung unter Ubuntu. Referenzartikel dazu.

Alternativ kann Version 1.58(rc1) gemäß nachfolgender Anleitung manuell nachinstalliert werden.

Achtung!

Ab Ubuntu 12.04 ist ndiswrapper in Version 1.57 bereits standardmässig in den Paketquellen enthalten und muss nicht manuell gebaut und installiert werden! Stattdessen kann bei Bedarf Version 1.58(rc1) verwendet werden.

Vorhandene ältere Version zuerst deinstallieren sofern zuvor installiert:

sudo apt-get remove --purge ndiswrapper-common ndiswrapper-utils-1.9     
sudo rm /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/ubuntu/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko 

Ab Ubuntu 11.10 zusätzlich folgendes Paket entfernen:

sudo apt-get remove --purge ndiswrapper-dkms 

Ndiswrapper 1.57 installieren

(bis einschließlich Ubuntu 11.10!)

sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-generic linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/ndiswrapper/stable/1.57/ndiswrapper-1.57.tar.gz
tar -xvf ndiswrapper-1.57.tar.gz
cd ndiswrapper-1.57
make
sudo make install
sudo depmod -a
sudo update-initramfs -u 

Ndiswrapper 1.58(rc1) installieren

(ab Ubuntu 12.04! - unter Ubuntu 12.10 momentan zwingend erforderlich / Stand Oktober 2012)

Version 1.58 ist inzwischen in stable angekommen. Man kann also zwei Varianten testen.

Stable:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-generic linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential

Prüfen:

Version 1.57 bzw. 1.58(rc1) muss angezeigt werden. Wenn ja, Treiber über Terminal installieren falls noch nicht geschehen.

Achtung!

Das grafische Tool zu Ndiswrapper, ndisgtk, aus den Repos darf ebenfalls nicht nachinstalliert werden, da ansonsten wieder die fehlerhaften abhängigen Ndiswrapper-Pakete automatisch nachinstalliert werden!

über Sudo (Codeblog von dir) die 1.56 deinstalliert, 1.57 installiert, geprüft - Version 1.57 wird angezeigt, Treiber neu installiert.
